please read on top right cruises from Seattle and Where to Stay in Seattle. It will give you an overview. We have two ports but neither are far from downtown so any downtown hotel will be close to the port.

If youre driving to Pier 91, enter the following address for the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal into your GPS or follow the directions below:

If youre coming from Interstate 5 Northbound:
Use Mercer Street Exit from I-5 . Continue on Mercer Street Westbound onto Elliott Ave. Follow signs to Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91.
If youre coming from Interstate 5 Southbound, there are two options to arrive at Pier 91:
1. Use Mercer Street Exit from I-5 . Continue on Mercer Street Westbound onto Elliott Ave. Follow signs to Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91.
2.Exit on Union St. , continue on Union St. to 4th Ave. Turn right on 4th Ave. Turn left onto Wall St. Turn right on Western Ave. and follow signs to Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91.

Seattle has two busy cruise ship terminals, and more than one million passengers embark annually from the Puget Sound waterfront for 7-10 day cruises to Alaska. Seattles cruise season runs from late April through early October. Seattle is a home port for Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, Norwegian, Oceania, Princess, and Royal Caribbean cruise lines, and a stop on some Crystal and Seabourn cruise line itineraries.

The Port of Seattle operates two cruise ship terminals. Both terminals provide services like airline check-in and baggage transfer, concierge and luggage storage, long-term parking, complimentary shuttles, and rental car kiosks.
- Bell Street Terminal at Pier 66 is located on Seattles downtown waterfront, within walking distance of Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, and the Seattle Great Wheel. There are two restaurants on-site, Anthonys Pier 66 and the Bell Street Diner, Anthonys Fish Bar, and other restaurants nearby.The Bell Street Terminal is home to Norwegian and Oceania cruise lines. The Edgewater and hotels are both within easy walking distance of the pier.
Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91 in Seattle. Hotels in downtown Seattle are a 10 minute drive. The Homewood Suites by Hilton is about a mile from the terminal and the closest hotel to the Smith Cove port.

The Bell Street Cruise Terminal is at Pier 66, fronting the downtown core. As of mid- 2014, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Oceania Cruises used this terminal for their Alaska cruises. Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91 is on the northern end of the waterfront, roughly a 10-minute drive from downtown. Royal Caribbean, Princess, Holland America, Celebrity and Carnival used this terminal.
Pier 66 has more on-site passenger amenities, such as restaurants, a deli and a marina. Both piers have parking, but Pier 91 has parking spaces for oversize vehicles, such as RVs. Rates at both terminals are on the pricey side. Unless you book and prepay online on the Republic Parking website, you arent guaranteed a space. Finding a hotel with parking and/or transfers included in the room rate is generally a lot less expensive than parking at the terminals.

The cruise port is great. Well laid out. Efficient security staff gets you through with a minimum of inconvenience. The embarkation crew got us registered and on-board quickly and efficiently. Debarkation is also efficient, except going through customs can get bogged down. This was Princess, so other lines may not be so good.
