If youre not going to get the drink package, you might wonder just how much drinks cost on a Carnival Cruise. I want to say that most of my fruity drinks were $6-$10, depending on the drink. Be sure to check the Fun Times everyday for the Drink of the Day, which will be discounted. Theyre always tasty choices! Beer you can generally get for $4-$6 per bottle, you might want to opt for pails if youre planning to drink a few or share.

In Summary: Where We Landed Between Dcl And Celebrity

Loyalty doesnt pay at least not in picking cruise lines. To this day I dont have a single favorite line, and I dont think there is a best cruise line, because its just too subjective, and there are too many considerations. If were going on a cruise with friends that have kids, we might sail based on their preferences, or if were looking for a specific itinerary, that might drive us. This is why well keep sailing Disney Cruise Line, and Holland America, MSC, Oceania, Royal Caribbean, NCL, Celebrity, and others. In fact, I can rattle off which lines I think have the best food, music, activities, and more but its a balance, and for more and more of our trips, Celebrity strikes that balance. The experienced and awesome folks at TouringPlans travel are great about understanding your vacation goals, so you can strike that balance, too.

Cruising in and of itself can be so wonderful, and many of us will enjoy any line we sail, so its easy to forget that there are other lines than the one youre enjoying now. Whatever your preference, just know there is a whole world of cruising options out there and they all have something to offer. My worst day at sea is better than my best day on land, and some of the best days at sea have been spent on cruises Id never have taken if I didnt try other lines and get a new fantastic point of view.

Lager And Ale And Stout Oh My

For a cold lager, cider, stout, or ale, step into the nautical-themed Keg & Compass, a pub that will have you singing, Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of, uh, beer. From the fruity Luau Passion Orange Guava IPA to the La Trappe Quadrupel Oak Aged Trappist Ale, this is the place for lovers of a good brew. If you want to venture out from the norm, try the dry, crisp, Odins Potion Mead, by Helderberg Meadworks. DCL has even branded their own label called Uncharted Beers which includes a lager, an ale, and a stout.

If you need a refreshing drink for your day at the pool, Stop by Wheezys Freezies where you and the kids can get blended drinks like Smells Like Berries, a yummy fruit smoothie. These can be spiked for a more adult version. If youre cruising without kids, or maybe theyre having fun in the kids clubs, head aft to the adults-only Quiet Cove where you can take a dip in the infinity pool and order up a Cucumber Honeydew Pop-Spritz made with Irvine’s American Dry Gin and Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic.

Men can head to a bar that isnt a bar, Hooks Barbery. Listed under the Spa & Salon heading, men can get a shave and a haircut, and also a bourbon or a whiskey.

Are Princes Cruises Drinks Packages Worth It

I would say you have to really think about it and take the price rises into consideration. However if you factor in bottled water, coffee, cocktails and wine with dinner it does all add up. A suggestion would be to use the drinks menus and prices below as a guide you can easily work out if the drinks package is for you by totting what you might drink daily.

Also count in any extras like speciality dining and photo as these are all a factor.

Entertainment & Movies

Disney Cruise Line specializes in providing amazing entertainment. This is Disney, after all!

Virtually every night, in the Walt Disney Theatre, youll be treated to an amazing Broadway-style performance, an amazing juggler, comedian, singer, hypnotist, or a full feature movie – usually something that is in theaters or coming soon.

The Buena Vista Theatre is an Art-Deco inspired movie theater. Youll find a variety current blockbuster films playing basically all throughout your cruise.

Pools, Games, Sports

All of the ships waterslides, pools, and sports activities are all free. Some lounges have board games available to play for free.

Gym

Each ship has a fitness center with free weights, cardio machines, and other fitness gear. The gym has changing rooms with showers.

Castaway Cay

On Disneys private island, Castaway Cay, lounge chairs and beach umbrellas are free. Additionally, it is free to participate in the Castaway Cay 5k run.

Kids Clubs

Disneys clubs for kids, tween, and teens provide fantastic entertainment in awesome settings. At one moment, your kids might be chasing Tinkerbell around the room, at another they might be listening to Belle read them a story. These clubs are all free.

I love that most room service items are included with a Disney Cruise. This can be so convenient when you need to save time, or just want to relax in your room.

Below you will find pictures of the Disney Cruise Room Service Menu that can be viewed while onboard through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Disney Cruise Wine Package

If you are going to buy wine every day, or even just on some days during your cruise, it is worth looking to see if you will save money with the Disney Cruise Wine Package.

There are two Disney Cruise Wine Packages offered. The Classic and the Premium Wine Package.

You order between 3 and 7 bottles, depending upon how many you think you will consume. If you do not finish the bottle during dinner it will be saved for you.

When you go to dinner the next day it will be ready and waiting for you. Or you can just ask your Server to cork it up for you and you can take it back to your stateroom or another bar to enjoy.

Here are the prices for the Disney Cruise Classic Wine Package:

• 4 Bottle Classic Wine Package $124.00
• 5 Bottle Classic Wine Package $149.00

You can purchase the Wine Package via your Disney Cruise Personalizer before you sail. Once you get onboard you will see tables set out which explain the package and let you sign up.

Or you can wait until you dine in your first rotational dining restaurant and your Server will explain how it works and you can order from them.

Disney Cruise Line Remy Dinner Menu 2022

At $125 for the prix fixe option , Remy stands out as the most expensive specialty restaurant at sea. The French-inspired offerings are the work of two world renowned chefs, Scott Hunnel, from the award-winning Victoria & Alberts at the Disney World Resort, and Arnaud Lallement, a Michelin 3-starred chef recently named one of the worlds 10 best chefs by Le Chef.

These menus almost make me want to get a real job so I can afford them! That seems extreme though. Instead I think Ill start subtly working on my in-laws, tugging gently on their heart strings: Your grandson will love you more if you take us all on a Disney cruise!

Beer Packages On Disney Cruise Line

The Disney Cruise drink package for beer provides you with 6 beers for the price of 5. During the initial days of your cruise, there will be collectible 6 pack soft-sided coolers for sale. The cooler stores flat which make it easy to pack in your suitcase when you are headed home.

There is a limit of one cooler per adult, 21 years and older. If you choose not to get the cooler, you still will have a beverage cooler in your room, where you can keep your beer chilled.

The below brands of imported beer are available in a 6 pack for $30 each.

Does Disney Cruise Line Have A Drink Package

Disney Cruise Line does not have an all-you-can-drink alcohol package like some other cruise lines. However, they offer a wine package that may be a better value for you, depending on how many bottles you plan to order.

The Classic Wine Package includes three to seven bottles of wine, and the Premium Wine Package consists of three to seven bottles of wine with a higher quality selection.

If you do not finish the bottle during dinner, your server will save the bottle for you. It will be ready and waiting for you when you go to dinner the next day. Or you can ask your server to cork it up for you and take it back to your stateroom or another bar to enjoy.

The FJ Cruiser has a 4.0L V6 engine and four wheel drive as well as an automatic 5-speed transmission. The low-mileage FJ is in Florida currently and is ready for an off-road adventure. The Carfax history is clean and reports no accidents or mileage inconsistencies. Modifications include 20-inch TRD Pro replica wheels, 1.25-inch hub-centric wheel spacers, a Pro Comp suspension lift kit, Fab Fours front and rear bumpers, a WARN Industries VR8000 winch, a swing-out spare tire carrier, and Katzkin leather upholstery.

This is a special dining experience that requires advanced reservations. Kids ages 3 to 12 can have a tea party with Disney princesses, which includes entertainment, a selection of herbal teas, and a two-course meal. The meal includes one sweet and one savory course.

The experience costs $220 eachfor children and $69 for the adults who accompany them.

Can You Use Your Celebrity Drinks Package In The Restaurants

Yes, you can order drinks from your Celebrity Cruises drink packages in the restaurant. Being a wine drinkers we thought we would need an additional wine package. However we drank wine in all of the restaurants we dined in, and just like a package it was kept in a bucket near our table and refilled regularly.

We were also able to order beer and soft drink in the restaurant as part of our package.

Carnival Cruise Drink Package

So you may ask, did we order the Carnival Cruise Drink Package? For this cruise, we did not but in hindsight we may the next time around. We were sure that we wouldnt buy enough drinks to warrant the $51.95 per person per day charge but we didnt take into account all of the other perks of the program. Not only can you get cocktails, but the Cheers! package allows you to get sodas, juices, smoothies, specialty coffee, milkshakes, energy drinks, sports drinks AND bottled water. I dont know about you, but Im a bit of a drink fiend. Our refrigerator at home is constantly half filled with things to drink so I think next time around we might just opt for this package. Its so much more than cocktails!
