New 25th Anniversary Experiences Announced For Disney Cruise Line In 2023
There are so many things you can do when choosing to vacation with Disney!
You can visit Disney World or Disneyland, travel overseas to visit one of the several international theme parks, go on an Adventures by Disney trip, or take a cruise on Disney Cruise Line. In 2023, you might be even more tempted by the Disney Cruise Line option because they just announced some special additions!
Disney Cruise Line is celebrating its 25th anniversary with some new happenings onboard. This will include Silver Anniversary at Sea merchandise, entertainment, and experiences that will happen on all 5 ships between May and September of 2023!
So what can you expect from these sailings? First of all, youll be able to see Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie with a new look! These new outfits look perfect for cruising, right?
On top of that, there will be special eats and drinks available for the 25th anniversary and Disney is debuting a brand new song created for the anniversary called Silver Anniversary at Sea.
Disney also announced that there will be a new merchandise collection called the Shimmering Seas Collection that will feature the new signature color that Mickey and Minnie are wearing. The collection will include accessories, apparel, drinkware, and more.

Get Your Mickey Ears Ready Disney Cruise Line Is Coming To New Orleans
As a child, I grew up loving all things Disney. From Snow White to The Lion King, I could repeat every line of every movie. In fact, I believed I was Cinderella ! Now that I am all grown and a parent, I get to share my favorite childhood Disney memories with my children.
My heart burst with joy when I heard that Disney Cruise Line would be bringing the Disney Wonder to New Orleans in February 2020. What a wonderful way to experience the magic while sailing along with Mickey, Minnie, and all of their friends! A huge bonus would be not having to share the magic with tens of thousands of other people while standing in line after line in the hot Florida sunshine.
Our little family was able to get a sneak peak of the magic on the Disney Wonder while on its current course over spring break. Here are five fun facts that I learned while Cruising with Mickey.
1. Get ready to have the most fun ever!
Seriously, there is not a moment to sit back and say Man, Im bored. We visited all of the character meet-and-greets that were scattered throughout the ship, watched classic Disney movies on the Funnel Vision while soaking in the hot tub, and enjoyed the award-winning shows.
Speaking of, I highly recommend Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. You will walk out singing Let It Go, I promise.

Stateroom Mickey Ears And Then Some
We went on our first Disney cruise in 2009, and we had heard about people decorating their stateroom doors. Looking for decorations, Mr. Wonderful was inspired to design some of his own stateroom Mickey ears. These ears are designed to fit the porthole room number on your stateroom door.
We had given the ears away for free for over 8 years but decided it was time to charge for them. So we are going to be offering new ears in the future and want to sell them, like many others do on Etsy, to be compensated for the designers time and talent.

The two rooms are connected via a secret passage that allows the children to go back and forth and explore different areas such as Andys Room, Marvel Universe, and Wandering Oaken village. My husband and I even wanted to stay and play. Note, children have to be potty trained to attend.
They will also enjoy making arts and crafts and science experiments while meeting many of the Disney characters. Each child receives an Oceaneer wristband, which is linked to the wearer and trackable while in the Club or Lab meaning parents know exactly where their child is instead of having to hunt for them. Believe me, you would be searching for a while without this feature!
The Club and Lab allows your child to make new friends and gives parents a much deserved break.
Pro tip:Parents with children ages 6 months-3 years can sign up for Its A Small World Nursery at an additional fee. The Nursery fills up quickly so make sure to sign up when registration opens.
