We liked everting about the hotel and the service we received. We were only there for a short time because we were getting on a ship in the morning.

great breakfast. convenient from the airport and to the cruise port. great staff. pretty room.

we checked in after a LONG drive from North Carolina. Honestly, by the time we arrived, all we wanted was a quick dinner and sleep. Staff was great at getting us checked in quickly, and out the next morning.

Clean, close to stores and restaurants , beyond helpful staff…enjoyed our time here!!!

What To Do Before You Leave For A Cruise:

1. Print your boarding pass and luggage tags at your hotels business center.

Youll need these documents to board the ship.

With COVID, youll also want to print out your proof of a negative COVID test.

2. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast

Whether your hotel has free breakfast, or you choose to grab a bite and coffee at Starbucks, Panera, or Einstein Bros. Bagels go ahead and take your time.

If you can, get a seat outside and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather!

3. Go shopping at Rossbut go early!

The Ross near the Fort Lauderdale cruise port hotels is well stocked and one of the best Ross stores I have come across.

Go ahead and get yourself a fun hat for your cruise, a pair of flip-flops, a beauty/skincare product on sale, sunblock , or a new purse.

Just make to go to Ross early. All the cruise staff shop at Ross, so expect really long lines at Ross starting at 10am.

4. Go shopping at TJ Maxx

Can you tell that I love discount shopping?

If you have extra time, check out TJ Maxx in the Harbor Shops shopping center.

The TJ Maxx near the Fort Lauderdale cruise port usually has cute summer dresses, swimsuits in all sizes , and pretty sandals and heels for formal night on a cruise.

5. Pick up essentials at Dollar Tree

Dollar Tree is seriously under-rated. Or maybe I should call it the $1.25 store now.

Its a huge bummer when you are on a cruise and get a headache or a tummy-ache and have to pay $5+ for medication on the cruise ship.

How Guest Reviews Work

Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of review scores we received. Guests can also give separate subscores in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently theres no direct link between them.

You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didnt actually stay there. To edit a review youve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.

We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Ideally, we’d publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we wont display any reviews that include or refer to :

  • Politically sensitive comments
  • Personal or sensitive info
  • Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
  • Spam and fake content
  • Impersonation
  • Any violation of our review guidelines.

An accommodation can reply to a review.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Midport entrance is at State Road 84 off U.S. 1 and is the closest entrance to most airport hotels. I-595 East leads directly to the port and serves as the entrance for Southport. If you are using GPS to guide you to the port, its official address is 1850 Eller Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

Miami International is also 27 miles south of Port Everglades, while Palm Beach International Airport is 50 miles to the north.

Port Everglades is just a 10-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. If traveling to the port by car, there are several routes depending on where you are arriving.

If you are renting a car, follow signs toward U.S. 1 North when leaving the airports car rental area before following signs for Port Everglades and Eller Drive directly to the port. From terminals 1 through 4, travel along U.S. 1 North before exiting on 17th Street and using the 17th Street Causeway to enter the port.
