Do I Have To Dress Up On A Regent Seven Seas Cruise

Regent Returns to Sail from the UK in September

Regardless of the actual dress code, Regent passengers do dress up for dinner. Daytime wear is casual , up until 6 p.m., when it changes to “elegant casual” except on the final night of the cruise or when dining at the pool grill or bar. T-shirts, shorts, baseball caps and sneakers are not allowed in any public area in the evening, but you’ll usually find people take the dress code further, favoring the “elegant” part of the dress code over the “casual,” with skirts or slacks paired with blouses or sweaters, pant suits or dresses for ladies and slacks and collared shirts for men. Jackets are optional, but they’re fairly common.

On cruises longer than two weeks, there will also be two optional formal nights, when many passengers opt for even more formal dress.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises Celebrates A Milestone

Seven Seas Splendor

Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is celebrating its 30th anniversary, kicking off a special series of curated anniversary voyages to entice both new and returning cruisers.

Peggy Nathan of Scarsdale, New York is one of the cruise lines loyalists who doesnt need much coaxing to take advantage of the excitement and perks of an anniversary cruise. Her six-decade long affinity for cruising pre-dated the launch of Regent Seven Seas in 1992. Nathans first ocean voyage was on a crossing from France to New York in 1957.

The cruise enthusiasts first experience with Regent Seven Seas was on board the lines inaugural world cruise in 2003. Every cruise line and ship has a distinct personality of its own and Nathan discovered that the ambiance on board Regent best suited her own sensibilities. Since then, she has tallied some 2000 nights on the same cruise line visiting 30 countries. She boasts that her tenure has outlasted many of the crew.

Nathans first voyages on Regent were with her husband. Now a widow, she hasnt lost her passion for cruising. In fact, she says that she has met so many people on boardboth staff and crewthat these relationships tend to dictate her cruise choices rather than the ships itineraries.

Nathans been on a number of other luxury lines but, to her, sailing on Regent always feels at home. I never pass anyone on the ship who doesnt address me by my name with a smile, she says.

RSSC’s headquarters address is “1000 Corporate Drive, Suite 500, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33334 USA”.

The RSSC ships are medium-size top luxury passenger ships, with a capacity of up to 700 guests each, all 6-star rated all-suite all-balcony vessels. Regent offers a generous space-to-guest ratio of over 70, and a staff-to-guest ratio of 1/1,6 – some of the best ratios in the industry. The Regent brand serves a clientele of predominantly affluent, middle-aged and older travelers, who expect a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and sophistication on board. The brand line is the epitome for impeccable service of the highest standards. RSSC’s all-inclusive vacation packages offer care-free world cruising in an ambiance of luxury, quality, and value.
