Disney Cruise Line announces their cruise dates and itineraries for only a few months at a time: January through April, then May through September and finally, September through December. Once the new itineraries come out, booking begins just a day or two later, first to Castaway Club members and then to the general public.
The people who book earliest almost always get the lowest possible price. Sometimes there will be last-minute deals via the restricted guarantee fares or Florida Resident fares, but only a small percentage of cruises ever have those fares, and those fares arent always cheaper than opening day fares. Will There Be A Refund
Royal Caribbean is providing the value of one day of the cruise as a refundable onboard credit, according to an update on the website, and giving passengers “a prorated refundable onboard credit for any pre-cruise packages you have purchased, including RoyalUp.”
Pre-purchased shore excursions for Nassau will be refunded as a refundable onboard credit, the cruise update said. All credits will be applied to your onboard account and any remaining credits will be refunded to the card on file.

Cococay Island Refurbishments 2018
Since 2015, RCCL invests huge money in the corporation’s private Bahamian island CocoCay. In March 2018, Royal Caribbean announced a USD 200-million project for developing private land destinations in the regions of the Caribbean, Asia, and Australia-Oceania. As part of this project, on CocoCay will be built unique water attractions.
CocoCay has 3 new beaches. Chill Island Beach offers private cabanas and daybeds. South Beach is specifically designed for beachside activities and offers bungalows, daybeds, teepees . Coco Beach Club is an exclusive beach with overwater cabanas providing premium island vacation experiences. Coco Beach cabana rentals are inclusive of 1 hammock, 1 waterslide, dedicated service . The complex also has a freshwater infinity pool, full bar, restaurant.

Health Protocols For November 2022 Cruises
Royal Caribbean’s health protocols for November are fairly similar to the protocols from October.
Vaccinated guests do not need to take a test for sailings of 9 nights or fewer for cruises from North America and the Caribbean.
On sailings of 10 nights or longer, fully vaccinated guests age 12 and older will need to bring a negative test result for a COVID-19 test within 3 days before boarding day.
Guests age 12 and up who are not vaccinated have 3 days to take a test before their cruise, regardless the duration of the cruise.
Guests under the age of 12, do not need to take a test prior to cruising.

Royal Caribbean Rolls Out Bermuda Cruises From Florida For 2022
— Royal Caribbean released its 2022 Caribbean itineraries earlier this week, and buried within was a unique detail: the line is now offering cruises to Bermuda, from Florida.
Traditionally, cruises to Bermuda leave out of northeast homeports like Boston, New York, New Jersey, and Baltimore. Sailings tend to vary little, with a day out at sea, one to three days in Bermuda, and a sea day on the return.
Other cruises calling on Bermuda, either at Royal Naval Dockyard or, for smaller ships, Hamilton, typically only do so during longer repositioning voyages or as part of a transatlantic crossing.
But beginning in 2022, Royal Caribbean will deploy its 3,344-passenger on a series of interesting jaunts to Bermuda and the Caribbean.
Offered on a handful of dates between May and October 2022, Mariner of the Seas will sail from Port Canaveral to Bermuda, where the vessel will overnight. It will then call on Nassau, Bahamas and offer a day at Royal Caribbean’s private Bahamian island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Each voyage will last eight days in duration.
Royal Caribbean has its new 2022 cruises to Bermuda from Port Canaveral aboard Mariner of the Seas available for booking now. Like any unique itinerary, booking early for these voyages will be prudent.

Testing for Cruisetour Guests
- Cruisetour Guests: Required Pre-Tour Testing: Royal Caribbean Cruisetour guests need to take a COVID-19 test on their own, at guests expense, before the land-tour portion of the Cruisetour.
- Vaccinated guests must show a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken no more than 2 days before the day the land tour starts. Kids age 5 to 11 who have been vaccinated may present proof of full vaccination and follow the testing protocols for vaccinated guests.
- Unvaccinated kids age 2 to 11 must show a negative test result for a PCR test taken no more than 3 days before the day the land tour starts.
- Guests under 2 years of age do not need to complete a pre-Cruisetour test.
- Cruisetour guests will also need to complete the pre-cruise testing to board the ship in addition to the pre-tour testing. Vaccinated guests are advised to bring an eMed test kit with them on their Cruisetour to meet the pre-cruise testing requirement. For vaccinated guests without a test kit or unvaccinated kids age 2-11 in need of a PCR test, a testing provider in Anchorage will be available to test guests at their own expense. Cruise Lines Cancel Voyages As Hurricane Ian Hits Florida
Cruise operators canceled trips and rerouted ships as Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida, where those in the storms path readied on Wednesday for storm surges and potentially deadly winds.
Carnival Cruise Line canceled a planned Thursday cruise on its Carnival Paradise ship leaving from Tampa, where the port is currently closed to maritime traffic, along with a sailing the same day from Jacksonville. Passengers will receive a full refund and a 25% credit for future cruises, Miami-based Carnival said in a post on its website.
Hurricane Ians extremely dangerous eyewall was moving onshore in southwest Florida late Wednesday morning, just hours after it grew into a Category 4 storm. It was packing sustained winds of 155 mph making it just shy of a Category 5 hurricane, which is the most powerful storm possible.
Carnival Elation, which departed the now-shuttered Jacksonville port on Saturday, is changing its itinerary around the Bahamas to avoid Hurricane Ian and will stay at sea until Jacksonvilles JaxPort reopens. Carnival Paradise, which left the Port of Tampa Bay on Saturday and was in Cozumel on Wednesday, said it will extend its current trip until the storm has passed and the port in Tampa reopens, possibly on Saturday.
