Lauryn Hill To Deliver Cruise Performance To Raise Money For Hbcu Students
Ms. Lauryn Hill is teaming up with the Tom Joyner Foundation to perform on its 2023 cruise in an effort to raise money for HBCU students.
I am so excited that Ms. Lauryn Hill is performing on the Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage 2023, former radio host Joyner said in a press release. She is one of the best of all time.
It added: Cruisers coming to Party with a Purpose and help raise money for HBCU scholarships wont be disappointed with what will be an amazing show!
The cruise will run from May 20-27, and will also feature 40 different performances, appearances from celebs, seminars and theme nights. Cabins are on sale now here.
Seemingly in a giving mood this year, Ms. Hill was recently thanked by Baby Keem after she cleared a Fugees sample for him to use on the deluxe edition of his debut album, The Melodic Blue.
Thank u Ms. Hill, Keem wrote on Twitter after the project dropped. The track, highway 95, was one of seven new songs on the deluxe release, and sampled The Fugees 1996 smash hit, Killing Me Softly With His Song.

For two decades, South Florida entrepreneur Keith Jones has made a living entertaining vacationers on land and sea, through his Grown & Sexy cruises and concerts in the sun.
These days, the only land Jones sees is the patch outside his home or the asphalt between home and Home Depot.
Like backers of some of the most popular events on this years social calendar, Jones has seen his efforts to host hundreds thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic and its attendant mandates for lockdowns and social distancing.
As politicians and epidemiologists debate the proper time and shape for reopening the country, Jones, the retired radio host Tom Joyner, and the backers of events, including the popular Essence music festival and the American Black Film Festival, are in a quandary.
Some hope a reprieve will come with the autumn leaves. Others have said, see you next year.
For Jones, who has events scheduled in the fall and next year, theres at least $2 million hanging in the balance.
Everything’s just thrown up in the air, said Jones, known as Super Lover KJ to his former Florida radio fans. It’s just a crazy period right now. It’s totally devastated my business. I mean, I’m making no money. I mean, not a dime.

As the years roll on Tom has been a guest and motivational speaker for many events around the U.S. and he says he will continue to do so and be an inspiration even through retirement. He says he will continue to advocate and push for his Tom Joyner Foundation and continue to sail on his Fantastic Voyages. While in retirement, Tom says he plans to layout on the beach and he will definitely enjoy not having to get up at 3 a.m. anymore for his early morning show after 25 years.
As Tom Joyner said his final goodbyes, many well wishes and farewells came pouring in all over for Tom Joyner from celebrities and people from all over.

Each of the Board and/or Organizing Committee Chairs should create their own timeline that includes a schedule of critical dates . The Chair can then add this information to the critical path to ensure key deadlines are adhered to. The critical path must be reviewed and updated regularly and circulated to all individuals responsible for assigned tasks.
