Does anyone have any thoughts on Bastille Day Fireworks cruises? Any personal experiences of what was/was not a good Seine dinner cruise on July 14th. I get the impression that none of them would necessarily be ‘bad’. But I would very much appreciate any feedback anyone has.

I personally would not consider a dinner cruise as I have never heard of one that has excellent food. But you might consider Bustronome which I have done twice and loved it. The French dont call the holiday Bastille day, but rather la Fête Nationale or le 14 juillet.
You might consider the Alain Ducasse boat. called Ducasse sur Seine. This vessel is covered complete in glass and the views can be exceptional as is the food. Calling now would not be too early to inquire about availability. Dinner on this boat is truly magical anytime but for the Fête nationale, it would be the experience of a lifetime.

This is an enchanting three hour gourmet dinner cruise and takes in the wonderful Parisian scenery from the Grande Bibliothèque to the Ile aux Cygnes through large picture windows while you dine. There are fourteen tables for two to eight guests in a sumptuous dining room featuring Italian leather furniture and a dinner service by Bernardaud. On the walls are engravings and early paintings of Quai Henri IV, linen curtains by Pierre Frey, armchairs designed by Philippe Hurel and a copper and mahogany bar containing bottles of Château Latour.A special tasting menu is on offer consisting of pre-starters, starter, main course, cheese platter and dessert.
