As a kid, I was in a tap dancing duo. We had the opportunity to audition to perform on a Showboat near our hometown. Unfortunately, we were not selected. So when I found out we were going on the Showboat Branson Belle, during the Blogging Branson trip , I was pretty excited to finally get to go aboard a real showboat.

Whats It Like On The Showboat
Stepping aboard was pretty exciting. As you walk onto the boat, you come up to a beautifully decorated staircase that sweeps up both sides. You can take the stairs to the second floor. There is also an elevator, to make it easy to maneuver around the boat.
As we made our way to our seats, we were greeted by our server who took our drink order. We were able to then explore and take photos from the deck as the sun was beginning to set. The views outside were gorgeous with the lake and the Ozark Mountains as our backdrop. The boat easily glided across the water, you could not feel it moving.

I live right on Table Rock Lake but its been ages since Ive seen it from the perspective of being out on the water instead of standing on the shore.
Thanks to Silver Dollar City Attractions for inviting me to check out the Showboat Branson Belle! I received a complimentary dinner cruise in exchange for sharing my experience with you guys.
Im a fan of dinner shows when youre visiting a city like Branson for two big reasons:
1) It eliminates the hassle of picking out a place to eat, figuring out how much time you need to get there, eat, and get to your show on time, and dealing with the traffic on your way from one to the other. Nobody wants to cut an awesome meal short because youre running late for your evening entertainment plans, and nobody wants to miss the beginning of a show because your waiter was slow bringing the check. Having both in one place saves so much stress!
2) Dinner and the show are both included in your ticket price, which can be a big money saver if yourre traveling as a family or group. The average live show in Branson currently runs around $30-40 per adult, so the Showboats prices are really reasonable for both dinner and entertainment!

What Do They Do For Christmas
The second half of the show had a Christmas theme. Lots of Christmas songs were performed. There was a salute to the troops during the performance that was wonderful. Branson performances always honor the troops, no matter what time of year.
And just like that, the show was done and we had docked again. I hadnt felt us dock or stop. It was that seemless of a cruise. We disembarked and made our way through the gift shop of course.

Experience Christmas At Silver Dollar City Branson
The entertainment was wonderful. We saw a funny magician, Mike Bliss who brought members for the audience on stage for some fun in his performance.
Dinner was served as the main show began. The show was impressive. The performers sang songs that everyone could enjoy. There were lots of people from our group singing along and really enjoying themselves. I watched the dancers . They did a wonderful job. There is one act where they do a medley of about 25 songs in 9 minutes.with costume changes! Eeek! I would have came out with something undone.
