So, what we did is break down what a Disney Cruise cost on average for a family of 4 with several different itineraries. These prices are total including all taxes for a family of 4. All of these cruises are prices based on inside, oceanview and verandah cabins.

Skagway Best Shore Excursion
Skagway is a tiny town with a very busy cruise port! This is as far north as cruise ships go in the Inside Passage . Skagway was put on the map by the Klondike Gold Rush in 1898 and has a colorful history. In fact, the entire downtown is a national park!
The White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad was built during the Gold Rush and remains today as a tour for visitors and I will tell you that in my opinion this is the best shore excursion available in Southeast Alaska! There are several options for the train: you can take a round trip summit excursion right from the cruise ship dock, or you can go one way by train and one by bus giving you additional views of this stunning location. You can also do a hike from the train getting dropped off at Denver or Laughton Glacier as part of a tour.
The White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad gives you the unique opportunity in Southeast Alaska to get up into the mountains and inland and see a completely different climate. There are good chances to see bears and goats on this trip too! Overall I highly recommend this if you only do one shore excursionmake it this one!
Skagway also has lots of great history to explore and several excellent hikes that leave from downtown and you can easily walk to.

How Much Does The New Disney Wish Cost
The newest Disney ship to set sail is the Disney Wish.
The new Disney Wish is sailing beginning June 2022. The ship will set sail from Port Canaveral with sailing to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay with 3 and 4 night sailings. Currently pricing for the Disney Wish is slightly higher than the other Disney Cruise ships and we anticipate that to last for about a year. Taking the ferry can be cheaper but not by much. Especially if youre hauling your car along with you. The route is the shortest and most economical one between the towns along the Inner Passage. So you wont be getting into the smaller bays just to view wildlife or stopping just to see glaciers calving. The views are going to be spectacular all the same.
If you take the ferry from Bellingham and embark at Whittier , youll have to pay $791 per adult. And that price does not include a berth . If you want to add a berth, thats extra.
For a couple of adults, were talking about $1782-$2,381, depending on the size of your berth. And thats without facilities, i.e. no private bathrooms/showers. There are public ones available and in fact, the Ferry People suggest camping out on the ferry
It is perfectly acceptable to camp out on the ferry. During the summer, people will often pitch tents on the deck and during the colder months it is typical to see families sleeping on blow up mattresses, individuals wrapped up in sleeping bags on the lounge chairs, etc.
