Celebrity Beyond will depart on her maiden voyage on April 27, 2022 from Southampton, England on a 10-night Western European cruise. This itinerary will visit Bordeaux, France Lisbon, Portugal and Seville, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, and Barcelona, Spain. She will then offer a variety of Mediterranean journeys including 9-night Italian Riviera and France itineraries and 10-night Greek Isles itineraries through early October. Celebrity Cruises Design Ambassador, Nate Berkus, created a chic, Moroccan-inspired escape that is reminiscent of a modern-day Casablanca.
Nearly twice as large as previous iterations, guests will enter the new Sunset Bar through a pergola-covered entrance. The area will feature small niches and covered enclaves for more intimate conversations. Lets not forget about the impressive bar itself either with its stunning design elements.
Additionally, the Sunset Bars cascading terraces will combine to provide the perfect place to soak in spectacular views and create unforgettable memories.
Rooftop Garden Celebrity Beyond Reveal
The Lead architect, Tom Wright, has expanded the exterior spaces on Celebrity Beyond, transforming them into tranquil outward-facing areas.
The Rooftop Garden on Celebrity Beyond will be 20% larger featuring a new level of comfort and design. This area will have increased seating with new private nooks. There will also be more spaces for movie watching, enjoying live music, and outdoor dining at the expanded Rooftop Grill.

Celebrity Equinox is a Solstice-class cruise ship that was the second of five Solstice-class ships for Celebrity Cruises. At just 11 years old, she is on the newer side in terms of cruise ships. While each of the five Solstice-class vessels are known for their own unique histories , Celebrity Equinox holds the honor of being captained by the first American woman to captain a mega cruise ship, Kate McCue.
The ship can accommodate 2,850 passengers and 1,250 crew members for each cruise. There are 19 decks in total, and the ship has a gross tonnage of 121,878 GT, as well as a length of 1,041 feet. If that wasnt enough, the whirlpool on our private patio made it SUPER special to watch the scenic ocean views & Alaska Glaciers as we gently floated by. Grand Plaza Celebrity Beyond Reveal
The core of Celebrity Beyonds vision of luxury is the Grand Plaza, a transformational place at the center of the ship. Larger than the Grand Plazas on sister ships, the Celebrity Beyond Grand Plaza has an airier atmosphere with more room for intimate seating. The added space also allowed for the reconfiguration of the Martini Bar into the center of the venue as a full, circular bar.

The Retreat Celebrity Beyond Reveal
The Retreat on Celebrity Beyond will be a sanctuary for suite guests. This exclusive area will include all new suites and a new two-story Retreat Sundeck. Additionally, this multi-level space will be 40% larger than its predecessors. It will feature more ways to rejuvenate in the fresh ocean air with secluded cabanas, chic new seating areas, additional water features, and the exclusive Retreat Bar.
The adjacent private restaurant Luminae, now located at the front of the ship, has also been re-imagined to provide a new experience with each visit.
An array of contemporary suite accommodations featuring fresh color palettes and design details by Hoppen await guests of The Retreat. These suites include the redesigned two-story Edge Villas with outdoor plunge pools, and Celebritys famous Iconic Suites, the largest in the fleet, offering better views than the captains quarters.

Celebrity Edge Cabin With Infinite Veranda
Those who have cruised on new river cruise ships will recognize the veranda design in the 918 Celebrity Edge cabin with Infinite Veranda. Like the river ships, these verandas can be used in all types of weather since they are like a sunroom when the outside window is closed and like a traditional cruise ship balcony cabin when the outside window is open and the door separating the veranda and the rest of the cabin is closed.
These Infinite Veranda cabins measure a generous 243 square feet, the verandas are 42 square feet, and the bathrooms are 30 square feet, which is 10 percent larger than the Solstice-class veranda cabins. Celebrity has doubled the number of drawers in the cabin, which will be appreciated by those who travel with lots of stuff.
Having A Suite Is A Night And Day Experience
In Alaska, it was cold at the Glacier, so people wore winter jackets and gloves while trying to stay warm and take pictures through and around the crowds of people up on the public decks. Not us! Shortly after we had breakfast served in our room by our Butler we sat in our verandas hot tub- cozy & warm as can be, just the two of us, snapping pictures at our leisure while sipping hot chocolate. No obstructions. Pure pleasure!
Our patio was so big, we didnt need to move chairs to fit in the small space. It also had a large table ready for dining in comfort and REAL lounge chairs . You know- the ones where you can stretch out instead of having to steal your spouses chair to put your feet up. LOL
The suite had a separate bedroom and we DID NOT have to move or push each other out of the way or stub our toe to get to the other side of the stateroom. If youve cruised a lot you know this is common practice in a standard room onboard a ship.

What You Need To Know About The Redesigned Celebrity Summit

As part of the Celebrity Revolution, which is its fleetwide modernization, Celebrity Summit showed off its grand enhancements this weekend, after a 38-day dry-dock.
Nearly two decades old, Celebrity Summit now shares many of the same design features as the new Celebrity Edge. It is part of the companys $500 million Revolution project, with the goal of gaining consistency across the fleet. Next up is Celebrity Equinox in May, with four more ships slated for 2020.
From updated guest rooms to 50 new slot machines in the casino and expanded spa services, the redesign touched the ship bow to stern.
Lighter and brighter staterooms and suites After going down to steel, rooms and bathrooms have been rebuilt with a design mimicking the Edge.
We really focused on what matters most to our guests with the Revolution, and at number one, thats staterooms, from soup to nuts, said Brian Abel, senior vice president of hotel operations at Celebrity Cruises.
Staterooms feel more open, making better use of the space afforded to them, and the lighter color palette gives the rooms an airy feel. Bathrooms were redesigned with faux marble finishes and new fixtures.
Summit added 30 staterooms, including 13 new Aqua Class, seven new Ocean View, and 10 new Inside Staterooms.
That has helped us market the suite experience in a whole new way, said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO.
