Where Is The Miami Cruise Port Located

The Miami cruise port is on its own island.

You cross a bridge to get to this island. This bridge connects to downtown Miami.

So the cruise port is in a pretty good location, and this means that staying at a hotel near the Miami cruise port puts you near downtown Miami too.

Are there hotels that are within walking distance of the cruise port?

This will depend on your definition of walking distance.

But for most people, walking probably wouldnt be considered a reasonable option.

It might take you 10 minutes just to walk across the bridge. And apart from walking on the bridge, you need to get to the bridge. And then once you get off the bridge, you need to walk to your cruise lines terminal. Both of these things can add another 10-15 minutes to your walking time. Different cruise lines are located in different areas, so if your cruise terminal is further away, the more youll have to walk.

But, I HAVE seen people walk to the cruise port luggage and all!

So, if youre staying near the cruise port and dont mind a 20-30 minute walk while rolling your suitcase along with you, it IS a possibility.

So for example, the walk from the absolute closest hotel to the Miami cruise port to each of these terminals might be a walk of about 25 minutes to get to the Disney, Carnival, and Celebrity cruise terminals. To get to the Norwegian cruise terminal it might be around a 30 minute walk. And to get to the Royal Caribbean cruise terminal, it might be around 40 minutes.
