Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom With Verandah
We stayed in a verandah stateroom, which I highly, strongly, absolutely recommend. It is nice to have a line of sight on the horizon AND to use that space for reading, happy hour and soaking in ocean breezes. Disneys staterooms are ingeniously planned, with plenty of storage packed in and families in mind.

I was thrilled that stateroom attendants still fully clean and care for your room twice daily. I have missed that service in other hotels. They still make your little towel animals and leave chocolates on the pillow. Its just lovely, and Id say the stateroom experience is relatively unchanged.
The split bathroom is another thing I love about these staterooms. You have two sinks, a toilet and a tub/shower combo. This is so convenient for a family or even friends!
I use the verandah every single day. My favorite thing is to order room service and sit out here for a quiet afternoon break.
As you can see, sailing with Disney Cruise Line is absolutely magical. So much thought and detail went into this reopening, and that is apparently at every step of your guest experience.
Incredible Meals With A Splash Of Disney Magic
Meals are included with your cruise fare. Each ship has rotational dining where you will visit one of three restaurants each night. Your waiter travels with you as you dine at each new location, and the waiters on the ship are truly a blast. Many have done magic tricks for our kids and all are the most caring people you will meet.
In addition, there is a buffet, and plenty of places to get food around the clock. There are several quick-service spots where my husband loves to grab a pizza, as well as 24-hour room service, where you can even get Mickey Ice Cream bars delivered to the room.
Unlike most cruises on Disney cruises, Guests can also enjoy endless soda for no additional fee. Tea and coffee are also included while aboard in addition to all-you-can-eat soft serve ice cream with all the toppings. The only food which is extra charge is at the fine dining of Palo & Remy and Vanelopes sweet shop.

Most recently we confirmed that the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention has issued a Level 4 travel warning for cruise passengers. It should also be noted that due to the conditional sail order issued by the U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, Disney Cruise Line has canceled sailings longer than 7 nights.

How Far In Advance Should I Book
Cruising: When it comes to cruising with Disney, the earlier you book the better! Disney Cruise Line rarely offers last-minute discounts. Instead, the cruise line will offer their cheapest rates as soon as cruises go on sale. The prices then increase the closer you get to your sailing date. Booking early means you may be saving hundreds of dollars over those that booked at the last minute! You can currently book the Cruise portion of your getaway for itineraries through May of 2022.
Walt Disney World: The Walt Disney World portion of your stay works a bit differently. When packages are released they are usually non-discounted. However, discounts can be applied later Walt Disney World Vacation packages are currently available to book through the end of June 2022.

A family cruise vacation can be so much for kids. A floating hotel, full of flashy activities, delicious foods, and impeccable service can be an appealing vacation option. However, when you start looking at prices, you may wonder if a Disney cruise is worth it. It can be more money than other cruise lines, but can also be worth it.
The answer to this question depends a lot on your budget and your plans for your vacation. It will also depend upon what you are considering for alternatives. For instance, if you are deciding between a cruise and visiting the theme parks, youll need to decide what activities youd rather do. They are very different vacations.
You may also be choosing between several different cruise lines. Many of them have similar itineraries, with different price points. Be sure you are comparing similar length cruises to the same ports and are not just looking at the lower price.

The services includes motorcoach access from Orlando International Airport to your resort, from the resort to Port Canaveral, and from the port to the airport. It makes everything easier and you dont have to worry about renting and parking a car.
Whats Extra On The Disney Cruise Line
Gratuities while you can pre-pay your gratuities with your fare, they arent included with the quoted price. Typically, youll tip your servers and stateroom attendants.
Transportation to the Port transportation from Disney World or the airport is not included. If you are traveling from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral, you can add on bus transportation for an extra charge.
Alcoholic Beverages Alcoholic beverages are offered at an extra cost. Be sure to keep an eye on your tab because it can start to add up. Drink packages are available, including wine and beer packages. Youll get information about these on the first day on the ship.
Premium Restaurants in addition to the complimentary dining options, there is at least one fine dining, premium restaurant . These are adult-only restaurants and you will pay an additional fee to dine there.
Youll also be able to purchase premium coffees at the Cove Cafe, located in the adult sections of the cruise ships.
WiFi While youll probably want to unplug during your family cruise, there are times when you cant be completely disconnected. The ships do offer WiFi, but there is an extra charge.
Shore Excursions You can absolutely stay on the ship during each port of call. However, you can have a great time on various shore excursions offered at each destination. These cost extra, and youll probably want to have cash on hand to tip the guides.

How Do I Get From Disney World To Port Canaveral
Land & Sea getaways are such a popular package that Disney has streamlined the process of getting you between the theme parks and cruise port! Heres a look at how this works:
Disney Cruise Line Bus On the morning of your sailing a cruise coordinator will meet you in the lobby of your Walt Disney World resort or at a designated location in the airport to take you to Disneys Cruise Line shuttle that will take you to Port Canaveral. Guests should note that there is a charge for the Cruise Line Bus. As of going to print the cost is $78 round trip per person.
After Your Cruise Disney Cruise Line buses can either take your directly to Orlando International Airport for your flight home or to your Walt Disney World Resort

Book Your Disney Cruise Separate From Your Land Vacation
After you have made your selection and booked your Disney Cruise, transportation and insurance, then you can decide if you want to stay at the parks before or after your cruise. I personally prefer going to the parks before the cruise. I would much rather want to relax on my cruise for the next several days, after spending a fun but exhausting few days in the park.
You can add your hotel and tickets with the Disney Cruise package but note, not all resorts are available when you add on. Also, on the cruise most of your meals are free but that doesnt extend to your land portion of the trip. If you have your heart set on a certain resort and want to add dining to your park stay you may have to purchase your Walt Disney World vacation separately. Cancellation policies differ slightly with your Disney Cruise and Disney Land Vacation so it is easier to keep them separate. Just remember you will have two deposits and two final payments to take care if you do book these vacations separately.
Water Is A Scarce Resource
There are no water fountains, disposable bottles are pricey, and the best place to fill up is at the complimentary soda machines on Deck 9 or 11, which can be far away. You can bring packs of bottled water, but youll have to carry it through embarkation it cannot be packed with luggage so consider bringing separate refillable mugs or tumblers to keep soda refills and drinking water separate.
