Getting a Disney Cruise Line job is easier than you might think. The first step in the process is to make sure the position is right for you.
The cornerstone of Disney Cruise Line jobs, known as the “Disney Difference,” is excellent guest service. Designed to create magical moments for guests, this concept is broken into seven steps. Disney Cruise Line employees must: make eye contact and smile, greet and welcome every guest, seek out guest contact, provide immediate service, display appropriate body language, preserve the ‘Magical Guest’ experience and, finally, thank each and every guest.
Another important aspect of working for Disney is maintaining the “Disney Look”. For men, haircuts must be neat and short, and jewelry must be limited to one ring per hand and a conservative, business-style watch. Though neatly trimmed mustaches and sideburns are allowed, beards of any kind are strictly prohibited. For women, hair below shoulder length must be secured with a plain barrette or hair tie and make-up must be worn blended, consistent with natural skin tone. For both genders, body piercings and tattoos must remain covered at all times.

Another way of applying for a cruise ship job is directly online. On the official website of every company, there is a career section where you can send your CV and fill in the application for a required position. Or, you can just type the name of the company and put the word careers next to it, and it will direct you to their career section .

If they have vacancies for your position, the company HR representative would contact you and direct you to further steps. If they dont have job openings, it can take a while before they reach out to you. I spoke to some people who applied online and they never got a reply back, meaning that the company probably didnt need people for that position at that time.
Some people also applied through the Linked Insocial network. It is a great way to contact the company representatives, and also to get contacted by them: I know several crew members who got contacted based on the resumes they had on LinkedIn. So, if you dont have a profile, go ahead and create one, make it look professional, and start searching you might get lucky!

You need to be at least sixteen years old to work at Disney Cruise Line, depending on the role you apply for. Many of the cruises last for several days or even weeks at a time. As a result, all staff members need to be prepared to work a range of different shift patterns.
The company boasts a large number of jobs both on land and on their cruise ships. There are employment opportunities to choose from in most parts of the world. Current employees also have the option of transferring to another location so they can work their way around the world.

Have all your documents ready to go upon applying. For example, a passport, resume, references etc. I submitted all of my required documents all at once. This moved my application process along very quickly and in my favour.

Disney Cruise Line is the worlds most popular family cruise line. Launched in 1998, Disney Cruise Line features Mediterranean cruises and calls to exciting places such as Northern Africa. Disney Cruise Line also has its own island called Castaway Cay. This 1,000-acre Bahamian island features activities for every age group.
Disney Cruise Line has three ships including Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Magic. Disney Dream is the latest addition to the fleet.
