Once on the ship you have the choice to go to a Concierge-only lunch in one of the restaurants or be escorted to the Concierge Lounge where you are sat at a table to await one of the Concierge team to walk your through your itinerary and make any adjustments or add on any spa services. While you wait make yourself comfortable with some of the snacks or a drink from the bar.
Each ship has 3 Concierge Cast Members that will be taking care of you the entire visit.; ;They will become like family as they get special events scheduled for you, move around dining reservations or keep your kids entertained so you can have an adult conversation.
Remy And Palo Deliver Along With Enhanced Room Service
Remy is an upscale, adults-only French fine dining establishment open to all passengers for an extra fee.
The upcharge is pricey at $99 per person or $199 with a wine pairing option, but I think it is worth every penny. Its so elegant, delicious, interesting and refined. Its truly an experience Ill never forget and one of the best meals Ive enjoyed anywhere.
Our meal at Remy at Sunset was one of my favorites ever.
Getting the kids fed on Palo and Remy nights can be tricky. Kids can eat in the kids clubs, or you can always take them on deck to grab some buffet food I guess. And they also say you can have the club counselors take them half way through a meal .
When we were headed to Remy, we wanted to check on getting room service for our boys in our suite. One of the Disney Concierge perks is that you can order room service from the main dining rooms rather than the more limited standard room service menu if you have booked any of the Disney Cruise Suites.
Eating at Palo and Remy meant we could avoid the banquet food that sometimes disappointed in the main dining rooms
We headed over to the Lounge, and one of our delightful Concierge hosts showed our boys menus. They could have anything they wanted from the main dining room. We set a time for them to deliver their food while we would be enjoying our meal at Remy, and they took care of everything. That worked out really well for my kids 10 and 12.
Remy is a must for foodies traveling on the Disney Dream or Fantasy.
Booking The Disney Wish Maiden Voyage
Interested in the maiden voyage on June 9th? Im sure it will be amazing, but it carries many exclusive terms that do not apply to other bookings. A 20% nonrefundable deposit is due on your booking date. Concierge final payments are due 150 days before departure, and non-concierge balances are due 120 days before departure. There are no date changes allowed so you must cancel fully and rebook your cruise.;

Disney Wish Concierge Overview
The Disney Wish lounge and outdoor spaces are going to be the largest and most luxurious of any of the Disney ships.
At the time that Disney Magic and Wonder were designed. the idea of concierge at sea was really not a huge thing. The classic ships had to be retrofitted with concierge space as it simply didnt have any for many years.
The Dream and Fantasy were definitely built with the concierge concept in mind as they always had a lounge and some outside space. They were built more than a decade after the Magic and Wonder, so the concept of concierge cruising was well established by that point.
However, Disney Fantasy and Dream have a lounge with no outdoor views, and the deck is also enclosed so there are no views out to the ocean. The design is very nice but could have been better.
Much has been learned from the design experience and the increased demand for concierge staterooms on the Disney Wish.
The design for both the lounge and the outside space on the new Disney Cruise Ship looks gorgeous.
The concierge lounge will have plenty of space, outside views, a full bar, snacks available, and an area dedicated to children. There will also be an outdoor terrace with amazing views.
How Much Do Disney Cruise Concierge Rooms Cost
Weve already established that cruise prices vary dramatically, but here are a few numbers.
Looking about a year out on a short three-night Disney cruise from Florida to the Bahamas , prices for a family of four in an interior stateroom start around $2,700. On the same cruise, a non-concierge verandah room starts around $3,000. The lowest level concierge stateroom for a family of four starts close to $5,000.
For that extra $2,000 to go up to concierge you would get more time on the ship, likely be able to book exactly what you want to do with no stress, enjoy included evening drinks, have snacks at the ready, get popcorn at the movies, order hot room service breakfast, etc.
Will almost doubling the cost of the cruise for those extras be worth it to everyone? Absolutely not. But for those who really enjoy lounges, streamlining processes, free-flowing drinks and the highest level of service, Id argue it can be worth it for a special or once-in-a-lifetime Disney Cruise.
On the other hand, for a seven-night Alaska Disney cruise for a family of four, prices start around $7,000 for an interior stateroom. A verandah room is more than $11,000 and a concierge room currently starts at a staggering minimum of over $25,000.
Yes, it can easily cost roughly the price of a Honda Accord for concierge service on a weeklong Disney cruise. Youll find similarly-staggering prices for concierge rooms when the Disney ships are cruising around Europe in the summer.

Disney Wish 3 Night Concierge Cruise Cost

You can see that there isnt much of a price difference between the Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom and the Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah in terms of price.
The Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom is quite a bit larger with 357 square feet of space. And of course, it has gorgeous views out of the floor to ceiling windows.
But it lacks one thing which many quests will not want to compromise on a verandah. Do you want to pay that price and not have a balcony?
Well come to think of it you do this with the Tower Suite as well..

The Concierge 2 Story Royal Suite with Verandah is priced at almost $30,000 for 2 guests. What a great way to spend New Years Eve but I think I may have to save up for a while
Disney Wish Concierge Staterooms
The Disney Wish will have 76 Concierge Staterooms considerably more than any of the other Disney ships. Disney Cruise Lines has made the move to more than double the number of Concierge Staterooms.
This is as I predicted. There is huge demand for Concierge staterooms and it makes sense to offer more of them.
The staterooms are beautifully furnished with a Disney Tangled theme.
Concierge Staterooms which sleep up to five guests. They will have spacious living areas and deluxe King beds. These staterooms will have a luxury finish and premium amenities.
One Bedroom Concierge Suites will have the same luxury amenities and include a living room, a master bathroom with a large tub and rain shower, an additional bathroom, and spacious walk-in closets.
A very new concept is the Oceanview Concierge Staterooms which are located over the bridge. There will only be seven of these staterooms available and they will have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bow of the ship. These will be themed after The Little Mermaid.
These Concierge Staterooms will not have a verandah, but will have amazing views.

Free Internet For Concierge Guests On The Disney Wish
I adore Disney Cruise Lines. I would live my life on a Disney Cruise. However, there is one thing that drives me crazy about Disney Cruise Lines which I truly hope they sort out on the Disney Wish.
The Internet!
Whilst other cruise lines have very efficient, fast and affordable internet, Disney is so behind on this. I have sailed on other cruise lines and had internet for my whole family for $129 for the week. It was fast and reliable.
I am sure that Disney Cruise lines will up its internet game on the Disney Wish new ship. I dont pretend to know any of the technical details, but a brand new ship can surely have a much better internet connection than one built a decade ago.
If you sail in the Walt Disney or Roy O Disney Suite you do get free internet. It would be great if Disney would give free internet to all Concierge Guests. However, I think it is unlikely.
Right now if you sign up for Disney Cruise Internet on the first day of your cruise you get 50 mb for free. Concierge Guests get 100 mb free. In my experience though, as it is based on data rather than a daily rate, you can use that up in minutes if you forget to turn off everything that pulls data on your phone.
I really hope Disney moves to a per day system for internet and moves away from the data based charging. Most other cruise lines have so its time for Disney to catch up!
Whats Included In Concierge Level Disney Cruise
When Disney Cruise Line added the Dream and Fantasy to their fleet they focused on making their Concierge product even more compelling. After recent refurbishments, there are now a Disney Wonder and Disney Magic Concierge Lounge, too.
The experience starts before your vacation begins with pre-arrival services that enable priority on reserving onboard activities, shore excursions, dining reservations, and beach cabanas on Disneys private island, Castaway Cay.
On embarkation day, you get priority boarding and are among the first guests to board the ship. Non-Concierge guests are given an arrival window to avoid everybody slamming into the terminal at the same time.
Adjacent to Concierge staterooms is a Concierge Lounge with light snacks and beverages throughout the day and complimentary beer, wine and cocktails in the evening.
The Concierge Lounge and hosts are considered the most important perk of the Disney Cruise Concierge Benefits.
The Lounge is where youll interact with your Concierge Hosts, probably the single best thing about the Concierge experience, who can help with just about any request you might have onboard.
Above the Lounge is a Concierge sundeck, an uncrowded space to relax outdoors with hot tubs, cooling misters, and beverages.
On their face, Concierge benefits might not seem like much. But during the cruise at every turn I felt like some invisible hand was guiding us to have the time of our lives. So many little things were just subtle, andwell better.

The Disney Wish Restaurants: Enchant
Ill be very transparent that the family dining is the part of the Disney Cruise I like least. While I appreciate the rotational dining concept and adore the magical spaces in the main restaurants, dinner for us has been about the premium options like Palo and Remy on past cruises. I remember those meals well, and loved every part of them.
Enchanté pays homage to our favorite Beauty and the Beast candlestick, Lumiere. This premium dining option features a menu designed by Chef Arnaud Lallement. Hes well known in foodie circles for his LAssiette Champenoise, a Relais & Chateaux restaurant and hotel near Riems in the Champagne region. This three;Michelin;Star chef will provide a dining experience worthy of the Be Our Guest finale. I will expect Can-Can dancing forks or at least something as delightful.;
The main dining rooms do sound amazing for a family to try, so I am still excited by Arendelle, a Frozen dining adventure, and the Worlds of Marvel which Disney hasnt share much about yet.;1923 honors the year the Walt Disney Studios were founded. Its an ode to glamorous Hollywood in the 1920s with wood paneling, gold accents, and British racing green suede chairs showcasing California fusion cuisine.

Service Like No Other
I have been on many different cruises through various companies I can honestly say that the Concierge service on the Disney Cruise topped them all. Obviously every employee on the ship is going to be polite and go out of their way to help guests but the Concierge hosts went above and beyond. They knew us all by name, took genuine interest in our daily activities, and even helped us out with my 3 year old granddaughter. At first I just thought it was because she was cute but then I realized we werent the only ones getting the special treatment. When you go Concierge youre basically getting a guide, personal assistant, and friend all wrapped in to one.
Sailing Concierge Level On Disney Cruise Line
If you are looking to receive a pampering level of service on your next Disney Cruise, sailing concierge-level may be the perfect fit for you and your family. For some, the additional cost to sail concierge is worth the extra expense.
The benefits begin while you are still at home. Shore-side services will reach out to you before the 120 days prior to your sail date to secure adult dining reservations at Palo or Remy and spa reservations. This booking window is prior to Gold, Silver Castaway Cay members and first-time guests. If you desire a cabana at Castaway Cay, they will also help you reserve the very coveted cabana.
