I wanted to personally thank you for the great job Knight’s did with our transportation for the last two meetings. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. I’d also like to give a personal thank you to you. You were always professional and courteous and extremely helpful even when we were changing things at the last minute. Your flexibility was very much appreciated. Thanks again.”

“I just wanted to let you know that Knights Limo came through with flying colors this weekend, and on short notice, too. THANK YOU for squeezing our reunion plans in to your day. Your buses were clean and comfortable and getting to know Gerry, , was a treat. Both drivers were courteous to our family members of all ages and patient and prompt, as well. The service you gave us is unusual in this day and age and I will vigorously recommend you to others. My thanks to the Devens Marriott for pointing us in your direction to begin with. Have a wonderful Independence Day, and a great summer!”

Lucy, The Crocker family

I want to take this opportunity to recommend Knights Limousine. They are very personable and provide excellent customer service. I have used Knight’s Limousine many times in the past for transportation to the airport and their service is excellent. All of the drivers are extremely friendly and helpful.

Just Like In The Before Times: Cruise Ship To Dock In Boston Tomorrow And Then Take Passengers On An Ocean Cruise

adamgTue, 08/17/2021 – 10:50pm

An actual cruise ship will be docking in Boston tomorrow for the first time since 2019, Massport said today.

The Crystal Symphony should pull into the Flynn Cruiseport at Black Falcon Pier around 9 a.m., so it can depart with passengers for the first of four cruises to and from Bermuda on Sunday.

That’s more dock time than a cruise ship would normally need, but the extra time will ensure the ship can “clear the last few standard items to get CDC approval,” Massport said.

Massport added, “Both passengers and crew will be fully vaccinated.”

How To Get To The Port From The Airport

If you flew into the Logan Airport, there are a couple of different ways to get to the cruise port. It all depends on your travel budget and preference.

Probably the fastest way to get to the port is by a water taxi, which will take only 7 minutes. Rowes Wharf Water Taxi offers various rates, as well as luggage storage. You can give them a call when you fly in to come pick you up or book your ride in advance on their website.

    There fees include:

  • Cruise ship special $25
  • Includes transportation from the cruise ship, luggage storage, and then to the airport.
  • You an also get a ride in a regular land taxi, which should run you about $25 and will take roughly 10-15 minutes to get from the airport to the cruise terminal. Or, you can embrace the modern age and order a ride from Uber or Lyft, which will be a lot cheaper than a regular taxicab.

And probably the final, and least expensive, option of getting to the cruise port from Logan is to take the MBTAs Silver Line bus. The ride is going to take much longer but is only going to cost between $2-$3, so is an excellent budget travel option if youre trying to save on spending cash.

    Guide To Boston Cruise Parking

With tens of millions of people within a few hours of driving to the Port of Boston, many people choose to take their car to reach the cruise terminal. Of course, driving to the port brings up another question what to do with your car while you are sailing.

As you can imagine, parking in Boston, especially near the city center has the potential to be tough. Your options are somewhat limited for cruise parking.

And what you dont want to do is try to skimp and find street parking in the port area. Not only are you unlikely to find it, but leaving your car on the city street while you cruise for an extended period is asking for trouble.

Instead, we suggest you use the BRA-EDIC Marine Industrial Park Garage. The garage is the official port parking, caters to cruise passengers and is located just steps from the cruise terminal.

The parking garage address is 12 Dry Dock Ave., South Boston, MA 02210

Parking costs $25 a day for cruise passengers . A weeks parking for your cruise is $170 and its $200 for 10-14 days. Considering the location and the expense of parking in the city, thats a pretty good deal. You might be able to find cheaper lots farther from the port, but remember that you will have the added expense of transportation to the port from those locations.

Heres what the garage looks like, so youll know when youve arrived:
