Pars Tailors Hostel More Hipster Party
Pars Tailors Hostel has a central location, and they do run Pub Crawls.
The people staying here are usually younger from 18 up to 28, roughly.
The design is very hipster-ish, and they even have their own Paella Nights. Some nights of the week the whole hostel also moves to Plaza Espanya for the Magic Fountain Show.
I also love the location here.
You are staying in the Hipster area of Sant Antoni, with plenty of cool bars, restaurants and cafés. Another advantage? You can take the Airport Shuttle bus from here directly, the bus stop is just 20 meters from here.

Museo Picasso
One of the citys busiest museums, you will be sure to find a queue of people eagerly waiting for the doors to open. The museum houses Pablo Picassos lesser known work from his formative years, where he was developing into the artist we now know and love. Displaying a deep relationship between Barcelona and the citys adopted son, this immense and astonishing display of his work is not to be missed.
Guided tours are available and workshops with visiting artists are available throughout the year.

Accommodation Options In Eixample Barri Gtic Barceloneta Barrio And Grcia
Eixample
- Olivia Balmes Hotel this is a great 4-star hotel with excellent service. Its a bright, modern hotel with a large open-plan reception area and a small rooftop pool.
- H10 Art Gallery we love the area this hotel is in, just a short walk from Olivia Balmes Hotel. There are plenty of tapas bars within the vicinity and this 4-star hotel is personal and quirky with bright pop art covering the walls. On the rooftop is a small sundeck and a plunge pool.
- Hotel Majestic an excellent, pricier hotel situated directly on Passeig de Gracia just a few blocks from Casa Milà. Hotel Majestic is an elegant hotel with a wonderful bar on the ground floor and a roof-top deck and pool area. Worth the extra price tag if you want an unbeatable location. And from the roof-top you will get a wonderful view over to the Basílica de la Sagrada Família.
Barri Gòtic
Barceloneta Barrio
If you want to live close to Barcelonas fabulous beach, then this is the area for you. Its about a 20-30 minute walk from the center of the old town, however local buses run frequently or hop on Barcelonas metro system for an even faster ride.

Hotel: H10 Marina With Roof Top Swimming Pool
I love this hotel!
If I were you, I would stay here. Party at night at the nearby clubs and recover, I mean to relax the next morning at the rooftop. This is not a party hotel, but again, I would go clubbing nearby and enjoy a quiet after-party.
The roof top swimming pool with a panoramic view over the Mediterraneanamazing!
Here you will be located in Poble Nou neighborhood, with the Bogatell beach at only 10 minutes by walking. H10 Marina Hotel is great for those who want to party, as you will be able to go by walk to many discos and pubs at the Port Olimpico.
That is right: Port Olimpico has plenty of discos and clubs. You can just walk back to your hotel in around 10 minutes. No taxi needed!
The rooftop swimming pools speak for itself, really.
Good to know: We also recommend this place for families. Again, the hotel itself is not a party hotel, but perfect to relax and stay in a quiet area. Oh, and the rooftop swimming pool is world-class!
What Kind Of Cruise Would Actually Be Right For You
This city stimulates you to enjoy some of the best cruises that you could ever think of. How does a 3 or 4-night Mediterranean cruise starting from Barcelona sound to you? The 3 night version would include the following ports of call: Barcelona, Marseille, – Savona, and back to Barcelona, Spain, while the 4-night deal would help you reach the following destinations: Barcelona, Spain Ibiza, Savona, and again, Barcelona, Spain.
Both options can be booked for less than $400 you just have to research different alternatives and shop by price, additional features and timeframe. Looking for an equally tempting option that would involve a few more days of relaxation, letting you stay in the holiday mood for a longer while? If thats the case, you may want to spend a little bit more money on a 10 or 14-night cruise allowing you to explore many more countries and ports.
The good news is that an extended trip doesnt necessarily involve colossal expenses. For example, you can go for a 10-day cruise from Barcelona allowing you to visit Western Europe and reach the following ports: Barcelona, Casablanca, Funchal, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Lanzarote, Malaga and Barcelona. Rates start at around $350 for the entire trip and prove that a fantastic cruise can actually be quite affordable.

So you are traveling Barcelona on a budget? There is plenty of options to sleep cheaply here, especially hostels are the top option.
Great cheapest hostels in Barcelona are:
On Hostelz.com you can actually compare prices for all Barcelona hostels. This way you can really book cheaper and save money.
Rest assured, the best and cheapest hostel in Barcelona is seriously Barcelona Central Garden. The value/ price ratio is really outstanding. It is a family run hostel, no party hostel.
For a young couple with little money visiting Barcelona, I highly recommend the Central Garden! Also for small families, older people and female solo traveller!
They have a small garden with a big table to meet and eat. They have their own kitchen to cook your own meals. I also like the family-friendly vibes here. The owners organize small events like dinner night and such so the people mingle.
Very easy-going and simple.
For the young backpacker, well, I would rather recommend YEAH Hostel and Pars Tailors Hostel, plus the ones mentioned above.

Where Is The Barcelona Cruise Port
The Barcelona port has a total of 9 terminals with 7 of them used by cruise ships.
The main cruise docks are Moll Adossat , World Trade Center , and Port Vell Maremagnum.
The area around the port finds itself very close to the bottom of the citys famous pedestrian boulevard La Rambla. The street links two of the citys great neighbourhoods in El Raval and the Gothic Quarter.
Most cruise ship passengers arrive at the Christopher Columbus statue in Portal de la Pau Square. From here there are various transport options which Ill get into later.
Stop #: Plaa De Catalunya And Back 1 H

We finish off heading downhill until we reach the unmistakable Plaça Catalunya: the citys unifying square.
If youre not too tired you can walk back down La Rambla and after about 10 minutes find one of the worlds best food markets La Boqueria on your right.
Grab one of the delicious 1.00 fruit smoothies or try a sampling of classic Serrano ham.
From here you walk another 10 minutes downhill and youre right back where you started at the Columbus Statue, where youll be able to take the shuttle back to the cruise port.
If youre too tired for the last bit simply take the green line of the metro from Plaça Catalunya to Drassanes.

A Few Things To Note:
Staying Safe In Barcelona
Barcelona has developed a bit of an unfortunate reputation for having a petty crime problem, in particular, opportunistic crimes such as pick pocketing or grabbing of purses, cameras, phones, or other valuables laid out on tables.
We would add that we have never had this problem on multiple visits to the city, however we are aware that it is an issue. Our advice would be just to be cautious with your belongings, to have valuables securely hidden away or on a secure strap around your neck, and not to have your wallet, phone or other valuables obviously visible in your back pocket. Think about either a money belt, a cross body travel purse, or pants that offer secure zip pockets.
Basic safety precautions and being aware of your surroundings should prevent you from these issues. Avoiding carrying large sums of money on you will also help. As I said, weve not had any problems, so we think that by being vigilant and preparing yourself by reading up on common scams in Barcelona, you will be absolutely fine.

What Are Spains Rules While I Am There
Each region of Spain has its own rules with regards to mask-wearing, indoor hospitality and Covid passes. Some regions also have a curfew and this can vary, not just within regions but within provinces or even between municipalities.
In some regions curfews are currently in place very late at night, between 1.00am and 6.00am but during the worst moments of the pandemic they have been as early as 11.00pm in some parts of the country. Check with the local tourist office for latest details. You can see the rules for the Canary Islands here.

Transportation And Parking At The Cruise Ports
Disneys bus transfers to and from the port are convenient, but also pretty expensive, especially for a family:
Disneys transfers must be booked a minimum of 3 days before the start of the trip through your travel agent . At the airports, a Disney rep will be at the baggage claim area to help direct guests to the bus. Your luggage will go directly to your stateroom you just need take your day bag with you to the cruise terminal.
One down side of using the Disney bus system is that you will arrive at the port with a big group of people and at a time dictated by Disney. The result is often a long wait in the check-in lines. You may also miss lunch on the ship, since the buses tend to arrive in the afternoon.
Below are alternate options that may be cheaper and/or more convenient.
