Is There A Limit To How Much Food I Can Order At The Dining Venues
When youre eating in one of the rotational dining restaurants or at a quick-service spot, feel free to order as much food as you can eat! Maybe youd like to order an extra appetizer for the table so you can all share. And yes, if you have a sweet tooth, you can absolutely order two desserts.
This goes for the main course as well! For cruisers with hearty appetites, you can definitely order two entrées if youre feeling ravenous.
In the for-a-fee specialty restaurants, you can generally order an extra starter or dessert. Some cruisers have had luck ordering additional main courses, but many others havent. It seems to be a YMMV situation!
When ordering from the à la carte menu at Palo, however, youll be charged for each item you order.

What Time Is Dinner Served On Disney Cruise Ships
Each evening on a Disney cruise, there are two seatings for dinner, the main or early seating, and the second or late seating. The early seating begins sometime between 5:45 PM and 6:15 PM . The late seating begins between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
Your assigned seating time will be noted on the dining tickets youll find in your stateroom on embarkation day.
Want to change your seating time for your cruise? You can submit a request through DCLs Planning Center.
Tipping Policy On Disney Cruises
We’ll make it easy. Of course, you should never feel that a reward is automatically expected from you. But it is customary to give gratuities in recognition of service, which you will most likely be treated to in abundance aboard the ship. As a guideline, may we suggest the following: Per guest/Per cruise
For your convenience, a 15% gratuity is automatically added to bar, beverage, wine and deck service tabs. All gratuities can be charged to your room charge.

What Is Rotational Dining On A Disney Cruise And How Does It Work
Whether youre a regular at the Disney parks and new to cruising or an avid cruiser setting sail with Disney for the first time, when it comes to dining at sea, Disney Cruise Line does things a little bit differently.
Rotational Dining is a fun perk of going on a Disney Cruise. Each of the cruise ships has at least three table service options included in the rotational dining program. Under the system, guests eat at a different restaurant every night with each restaurant featuring a different decor and menu. These are as follows:
Disney Dream: Animators Palate, Enchanted Garden, and Royal Palace
Disney Fantasy: Animators Palate, Enchanted Garden, and Royal Court
Disney Magic: Animators Palate, Lumieres, and Rapunzels Royal Table
Disney Wonder: Animators Palate, Tritons, and Tianas Place
The great thing about Rotational Dining is that not only will guests have their meals at the same time each evening, but also the same servers will follow you from restaurant to restaurant. This is a real perk of rotational dining as it allows you to build a relationship with your server and its easier for them to keep track of any needs you may have .
Main Seating tends to book up really quickly so depending on how close you book to your departure date, you may find that it is already filled up and you have to choose Second Seating. If this is the case, you do have the option of being waitlisted for Main Seating and will automatically be moved should something come up.

Out Of The Wild Turned Into Seating Area At Disneys Animal Kingdom
Out of the Wild, a gift shop at Rafikis Planet Watch in Disneys Animal Kingdom, has permanently closed. The space that once held the outside shop now has seating and vending machines.
The shops curtains remain, rolled up to the ceiling.
Colorful benches, stools, and tables have been moved into the area.
The panels along the back wall cover the old display shelves.
Theres a drinks machine and a snack machine.
Theres also a souvenir I.D. tags machine and a pressed penny machine.
The entire area is shaded, offering a nice spot for guests to rest.
This is the second new seating area added to Disneys Animal Kingdom after Primeval Whirl was recently demolished and replaced by a few picnic tables.

What Are The Times For Main And Second Dining
For dinner each evening, guests can choose from Main Seating or Second Seating .
In my experience, guests tend to prefer the first seating when travelling with smaller kids with earlier bedtimes. For that reason, guests will find the first dinner seating a bit louder than its later-in-the-night counterpart. Similarly, second dining seems to be the option of choice for guests with teenagers or adults who will gladly sacrifice a earlier dining time for a bit more peace and quiet.

Spa: Treatments Products And Fitness Center
Spa treatments are very popular and fill up early, so book them as early as you can. If youre not able to get an appointment before you embark, go to the Spa when you get onboard and youll probably be able to arrange one in person.
We dont recommend making any appointments on the first day, because people are touring the Spa all afternoon and evening, making it busy and not very relaxing.
When you check in with the front desk staff at the Spa, theyll give you a fluffy robe. Sadly, the robes are all one size fits most and arent big enough for many people. You then proceed to the womens or mens locker room, where you can choose a locker that contains a clean pair of spa sandals. The lockers allow you to set your own combination for secure storage of your personal items. We dont find the sandals they provide very comfortable , so we just wear a clean pair of sandals to our spa appointment.
You can change into your robe in the open locker room or in one of the toilet cubicles. Once youre in your robe and sandals, an attendant will escort you to a quiet waiting room, where you can enjoy some water while you wait for your treatment. After your treatment youll be escorted back to the locker room, where you can use one of the spacious showers if you wish. Basic toiletries, disposable combs, etc. are provided. On the Dream and Fantasy, there is a dry sauna in the locker room that you can enjoy after your treatment for no additional charge.

Second Seating With Children
Hi everybody. So we are thinking about cruising with the kids on the Fantasy in April. We are locked into one cruise that corresponds with the kids school vacation. All that is left is the second seating for dinner. Have any of you eaten that late on DCL with kids around this age? Are there very few kids during this time? What time do the servers actually start your meals and about when do you finish? Would I be better off just booking something in April 2019 instead so I can get the earlier dinner?I really want to go in April 2018 but I’m scared that the second seating may be a deal breaker for us. Any personal experiences would certainly help us out. Thanks!

Pick An Appropriate Dinner Time For Your Family
There are two seatings for dinner on Disney cruise ships 5:45PM and 8:15PM. Dinner takes approximately 2 hours from start to finish so choose a dinner time that works with your kids sleep schedule. If you happen to be assigned the second dining time and are wondering how your kids will make it to the end of dinner, take advantage of the Dine and Play program.
The Dine and Play program is available for kids 3 to 12 years old. Dinner is served to the kids first while the parents dinner is served at a more relaxed pace. Youth Club staff members will take children from the dining room into the Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab while the adults finish their dinner.

Let Dining Room Staff Know About Allergies And Food Preferences
Disney offers rotational dining where you visit different restaurants throughout the cruise and your wait staff follow you from dining room to dining room. This is great for getting to know them better and having someone familiar with food allergies or food preferences. The chefs will sometimes come out and discuss what options are available.
Our servers were always quick to point out what was nut free and what wasnt. It was great not having to explain Little Mans allergy situation to new people everyday.
