Seabourn will now include WiFi aboard its ships as part of the ultra-luxury onboard inclusive experience.
Seabourn now includes complimentary WiFi with unlimited minutes for all bookings so guests can access the internet throughout their voyage from anywhere on the ship.
Two tiers of internet packages are available across Seabourns fleet:
- Surf Wi-Fi Package: allows 1 device per guest with unlimited minutes of access for general web browsing, email, and checking or posting to social media accounts.
- Stream Wi-Fi Package: this upgraded package allows up to four devices per guest with unlimited minutes of access to web services offered in the Surf package, plus access to video streaming, internet telephony as well as VPN/cloud storage services.
Guests booked in Penthouse and Premium suite categories, as well as Seabourn Club members who have reached Diamond-level status or above, will automatically receive the Stream package. Those who are booked in Ocean View and Veranda suites can upgrade to the Stream package for a nominal charge.

Are All Luxury Cruise Lines All
Even within luxury cruising, not all lines are created equal. Regent, Silversea, Seabourn and Crystal tend to be the top end , and — not coincidentally — have the most included in the price. Even here, what’s wrapped into the price can vary.
Azamara, Windstar, Viking Ocean and Oceania, which generally carry a lower price point than the lines mentioned above, also have some items included in the fare. Overall, you’ll find that these cruise lines offer a more a la carte experience than the ones listed above.
No luxury cruise lines include spa treatments, photos, souvenirs or unique shore excursions in their fare.
Seabourn Odyssey Veranda Suites:
The most common category is the veranda suite.
These suites average 365 square feet in size, which includes the teak veranda with glass railing.
I use the term suite loosely here, as thats how the line describes their Seabourn Odyssey cabins.
Theres no actual wall dividing the living room area from the bed in the veranda suites instead, heavy bronze silk curtains do the job .
If you want a proper two-room design, you need to choose one of the larger suites and there are several of those!
I think Seabourns designers did a marvelous job with Seabourns veranda suites.
Pleasing in décor, theyre furnished with blonde wood cabinets, a loveseat and two camel leather chairs around a dining-cum-work table .
And theres sufficient room to comfortably move around, without bumping and bruising your arms or legs on any corners.
And I loved the walk-in closet with more than enough hangers and drawers to stow away a huge suitcase worth of clothes for a two-week cruise.
The spacious marble bathroom was a particular delight. It had two sinks, a proper bathtub and a separate glass shower with strong water pressure.
Molton Brown bath products in large tubes were a pleasure to use.
Indeed, every time I returned to my suite, it was an ahhhhh moment where I felt Id entered my own soothing cocoon of calm and quiet.

Seabourn Cruises 2021 / 2022
Seabourns 2021 cruises will restart this summer, with Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Ovation and Seabourn Sojourn all returning in July for a series of itineraries in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. On Seabourn ships, every meal is prepared especially for you by a team of skilled chefs, using fresh, high-quality ingredients and reflecting authentic regional flavors. Thanks to a partnership with world-renowned chef Thomas Keller, an array of dishes including appetizers, entrees and desserts have been created with Kellers French-American flair.
Dine in The Restaurant whenever youd like the white-cloth dining room is open-seating, so no reservations or seating plans are required. Or, visit Restaurant 2, a more intimate, modern, and innovative restaurant. Nightly tasting menus at R2 offer flights of small plates put together to make a unique and memorable meal. For a more casual meal, The Colonnade is available all day, with buffets and daily specials for breakfast and lunch and a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. Free Shore Excursions On Luxury Cruises
When it comes to all-inclusive cruising, shore excursions are one of the few items still carrying a price tag. Even so, some luxury cruise lines offer cruises with excursions included, ranging from a selection of complimentary tours in every port to once-per-cruise special land-based events available to all passengers. You’re still covering the cost in your base cruise fare, but you don’t have to make price-based decisions onboard.
If you prefer a higher up-front fare and no worries about pricing later, you might want to look for cruise lines that include many free shore excursions. If you’d rather pay a la carte or prefer private guides to packaged cruise ship tours, you should gravitate toward a ship that does a special event or two, or one that offers a complimentary shuttle or other service but leaves the rest of the planning to you.

Seabourn Cruises: What Are They Like
Seabourn is one of 4 or 5 providers of luxury cruises, where the level of service is very high: the price is pretty much all-inclusive. In Seabourns case, this means that gratuities are included as is all food and drink. Excursions are not included. Seabourns ships are rather small: most carry only 450600 passengers, so you get exceptional service and attention.
We found the experience delightful and of high quality from beginning to end: our Caribbean cruise began on Barbados, and ended there, too, a week later. From the moment we arrived at the ship terminal, Seabourn personnel took over, welcoming us and taking our bags to be delivered to our suite. They quickly produced scannable ID cards that would open our rooms and served as identification to get on and off the ship, and sent us to the gangway with instructions to go to the 8th deck for lunch at the Colonade. Lunch was more or less buffet style, but our waiter promised to bring us the food himself if we preferred, along with some nice wine.
After lunch we went to our room. We were greeted by our room stewardess, who helped us with anything we asked for. In fact, to our surprise, our luggage was already there. Most rooms on Seabourn ships have a King sized bed or two single beds, a sitting area with TV, a veranda, a walk-in closet with ample storage, a bath with a two sink vanity, and a separate tub and shower stall.

Are Fitness Classes And Enrichment Programs Free Of Charge
On Seabourn, Regent, Silversea, Windstar, Viking Ocean and Crystal, it’s rare to find a fitness class or enrichment session that carries an extra fee. You will have to pay extra for personal training and premium wine tastings, however.
On Azamara and Oceania, special fitness classes such as Pilates or spinning usually carry a fee.
