World Cruise Center San Pedro California

The World Cruise Terminal at the Port of Los Angeles is located at 100 Swinford Street in San Pedro. The ships dock at berths 91,92 and 93.

Only a 20 minutes drive from downtown L.A., this can be a great stop for the projected 600,000 passengers to come through the San Pedro terminal.

Within a 5 mile radius of the terminal are many different things for passengers to see and do the Battleship IOWA, Ports OCall Village, the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, and downtown San Pedro, home to many galleries, shops and restaurants.

San Pedro Fish Market

The San Pedro Fish Market is both a fish market and a world-famous restaurant. Its also a freeparking location if youre looking for somewhere to leave your vehicle during ashort cruise.

This is a busy spot though, so dont expect parking to beeasy.

Travel southbound on the San Diego Freeway , and then southbound on the Harbor Freeway . Exit at Harbor Blvd. and proceed straight through the Harbor Blvd. intersection. Turn right to enter the World Cruise Center.

Facilities At The Terminals

Since there are so many options for food and entertainmentin the LA Waterfront area, the Los Angeles Terminals themselves arepurpose-built. Youll be able to find bathrooms and other necessities in theterminal, but they are mostly functional buildings that youll only occupyimmediately before boarding.

Depending on the cruise, and the anticipated wait time, yourcruise operators may provide snacks while youre going through luggage check.

Youll move through 100,000 square feet of luggage checkareas. Dont worry, this process will feel familiar if youve ever flown on aplane.

You and your luggage will be checked by the Expedited U.S.Customs security clearance and baggage handling.

There are courtesy shuttles running between the parking lotand the terminal, which is especially useful if you have to bring a lot ofluggage.

If you have any trouble or are uncertain where to go afterpassing your Customs check, there are plenty of signs and lots of staff readyto point you in the right direction.

Print And Protect Luggage Tags Well In Advance

No reservations are required unless you need accessible van service. At LGB, after collecting luggage, exit the baggage claim and proceed across the middle island toward the rental car area to the booth marked “Ground Transportation.” Notify the attendant at the booth that you are there for Prime Time or SuperShuttle — it’s approximately $18 per person. Taxis run about $80 from LAX and $55 from LGB, the port. At LAX, Uber and Lyft are available for pick-ups neither is available at LGB.
