Atlantis Paradise Island unveiled pre- and post-cruise offers for Bahamas sailings, which include daily resort credits of $50 and $100, depending on the property selected.
The offer is in effect for stays through November 6, 2021, for bookings through August 31, 2020.
A two-night minimum stay is required.
Guests who choose The Cove or The Reef are eligible for resort credits of $100 those selecting The Coral are eligible for daily credits of $50.
Travelers can also opt for an early 12 p.m. check-in or a late 3 p.m. check-out.
The Cove is Atlantis luxury property, which is set between two pristine beaches.
The Reef features residential-style studios and suites, while The Coral serves as Atlantis family-friendly hotel.
Travelers cruising roundtrip from Nassau can access offer online or by calling 800-ATLANTIS.

Getting To Atlantis By Taxi
Taxis are readily available directly outside Prince George Wharf, and you can also ask staff at the tour desks inside Festival Place for assistance. If your group doesnt fill all the taxis seats, you will be expected to wait until other passengers, whether theyre tourists or locals, take the remaining seats before you leave. Bahamian taxis typically dont have meters, so you should establish the fare before getting in. Expect to pay a gratuity of around 15 percent and, possibly, the bridge toll. With no traffic, the journey should take about 10 minutes, but it can be longer at busy times of day. Returning to the cruise port by taxi is also easy you can hail one in front of any Atlantis entrance at any time of day.
Ferry Boats Run Every 30 Minutes From 9 Am To 6 Pm
If you need a ride, then the schedule is pretty easy to remember. Boats run every half hour between 9 in the morning and 6 in the evening. This includes Sundays and holidays.
In our experience, they actually run more often than that. In fact, weve never waited more than 10-15 minutes for a boat to arrive.
Still, one thing you dont want to test is the time of the last boat to the mainland. If you are on Paradise Island and want to take a ferry back to the ship, wed recommend arriving at the dock no later than 5 p.m. to ensure that you get back well before the last ship departs.

Getting To Atlantis From The Cruise Port
What’s the best way to get from the cruise ship port to Atlantis?
When you come out of the cruise terminal and you are on the street have someone point you to what I call the water taxi over to the atlantis. I think the fare could be $6.00 round trip if I remember correctly you want to make sure you have he correct change so have some singles. You will be given a return ticket to come back. When you get off the taxi you will go thru the walkway of the terminal to the street and cross over to the marina village at atlantis. The water taxis run maybe every half hour and it takes maybe 15 minutes to atlantis and then back to cruise ship. You will only be allowed to visit the shops / restaurants at marina village, the casino in the coral towers. You would not be able to explore the property. Restricted to hotel guest and the Harborside timeshare owners.

Things To Know Before You Go
Atlantis Resort and its sprawling facilities are open only to paying guests. Cruise passengers who are only in Nassau for the day must purchase a day pass or book a shore excursion to Atlantis through their cruise line. You can book a day pass in advance online or on the day-of at the resort or a kiosk at Prince George Wharf. Youll need a cruise line ID to redeem the pass. Availability is limited, so book in advance to avoid disappointment. Without a day pass, you can still explore Paradise Islands public beaches, along with the Atlantis casino and marina, where youll find numerous shops and restaurants.

Getting To Atlantis By Water Taxi
Water taxis, private services offered by individual operators, run from the docks immediately behind Festival Place to Paradise Island every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. One-way and return tickets are available during the boat ride, youll get a short narrated tour, and the guide will expect a gratuity. From the dock on Paradise Island, its a fairly short walk to the resort.
How Much Does It Cost To Take The Ferry
The ferry charges $4 for one-way and $8 round-trip. Put your return ticket somewhere where it wont blow away.
Once you have your ticket, youll be shown to the ferry to board. If you like sun, go up the narrow ladder to the top deck. The views are beautiful from up there. Keep in mind theres no covering so if you dont have sunscreen, this might not be the best place to sit for the 15-minute ride to Paradise Island. Also, hold on to your hat it gets pretty breezy up top, too.

On foot: Many of Nassaus historic sites and the Bay Street retail district are within walking distance of the cruise ship pier and the downtown area. Bay Street is lined with shops, restaurants and bars, and cruisers so inclined can spend the day strolling the area. Just put on your sneakers, disembark your ship, take a few steps and start exploring. There are also ferries to nearby attractions and its also possible to rent a car or motor scooter.
Taxi operators are staged around the Prince George Wharf area. Taxis are not metered, so always negotiate the fare before entering the vehicle.
