Disney Cruise Roy Disney Suite Cost

Don't Miss

How Much Do Disney Cruise Concierge Rooms Cost

Disney Cruise Line – Magic ship. The Roy O. Disney suite.

Weve already established that cruise prices vary dramatically, but here are a few numbers.

Looking about a year out on a short three-night Disney cruise from Florida to the Bahamas , prices for a family of four in an interior stateroom start around $2,700. On the same cruise, a non-concierge verandah room starts around $3,000. The lowest level concierge stateroom for a family of four starts close to $5,000.

For that extra $2,000 to go up to concierge you would get more time on the ship, likely be able to book exactly what you want to do with no stress, enjoy included evening drinks, have snacks at the ready, get popcorn at the movies, order hot room service breakfast, etc.

Will almost doubling the cost of the cruise for those extras be worth it to everyone? Absolutely not. But for those who really enjoy lounges, streamlining processes, free-flowing drinks and the highest level of service, Id argue it can be worth it for a special or once-in-a-lifetime Disney Cruise.

On the other hand, for a seven-night Alaska Disney cruise for a family of four, prices start around $7,000 for an interior stateroom. A verandah room is more than $11,000 and a concierge room currently starts at a staggering minimum of over $25,000.

Yes, it can easily cost roughly the price of a Honda Accord for concierge service on a weeklong Disney cruise. Youll find similarly-staggering prices for concierge rooms when the Disney ships are cruising around Europe in the summer.

Walt And Roy Suite Only Perks

As guests of the Walt Suite, we were the first to board after the Family of the Day and we didnt have to wait to access our palatial stateroom . Boarding first means we got a few extra hours to enjoy the ships amenities and could drop off our day bags before heading to lunch at Cabanas. It was so convenient to not have to lug around bags and we bypassed long bathroom lines by the pool.

Another delicious perk was the complimentary fresh fruit platter, which included a coconut stuffed with fresh berries.

The Walt Suite and Roy Suite are the only staterooms that offer in-room dining from Palos, the chic adults-only fine dining restaurant. Staying in these suites is the only way guests under 18-years-old can dine on the restaurants Northern Italian fare like piquant Dover sole garnished with nut brown butter and chopped capers. Guests dont have to adhere to the upscale dress code that is required when enjoying brunch or dinner in Palos dining room. The in-room dining experience was identical to that at Palos: a waiter took orders and attended to every detail and a sommelier made suggestions of European wines to pair with our multi-course meal.

What Is Disney Concierge Level

Disney Cruise Lines concierge level is similar in some ways to a club level room at a Disney World or Disneyland resort hotel. Youre going to pay more in exchange for access to a lounge and extra services. However, the extras for concierge service on a Disney ship actually go much further than a club room at the Disney parks.

To access Disney Concierge Level on a Disney Cruise, you have to book at least a verandah-level room, and even then, not all verandah rooms come with the concierge-level option. The cheapest concierge rooms Ive seen start in the mid-$3,000s for a short sailing for two people. Prices go up to tens of thousands of dollars for concierge level in larger staterooms or on longer sailings.

Those who decide to spend the extra cash will be spoiled with earlier booking dates for excursions, activities, special onboard meals and offerings, the ability to lock-in cabanas at Disney private island Castaway Cay, etc. Concierge guests also have a private lounge to utilize on the ship and special access to some extras that make sailing with Disney even more comfortable.

Where: Tokyo Disneyland Resort

DISNEY DREAM Roy Disney Suite

Tokyo Disneyland is generally considered the sorcerer supreme of all Disney resorts. It has the most impressive tech, most unique attractions, and the most creative food. And the resorts are just as detail-oriented in theming. The character rooms at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are definitely a bucket-list stay, but theyre intended for larger families. The Beauty and the Beast suite is aesthetic gold, but most of the square footage is for additional beds. For something $$$$ thats more romantic and one-of-a-kind, the Walt Disney Suite trades overt character theming for subtle references and lavish, Main Street U.S.A.-chic furnishings. The namesake penthouse has modern amenities, too, such as a giant spa-style steam shower, jetted bathtub and a casual solid bronze Mickey statue in the foyer.

Remy And Palo Deliver Along With Enhanced Room Service

Remy is an upscale, adults-only French fine dining establishment open to all passengers for an extra fee.

The upcharge is pricey at $99 per person or $199 with a wine pairing option, but I think it is worth every penny. Its so elegant, delicious, interesting and refined. Its truly an experience Ill never forget and one of the best meals Ive enjoyed anywhere.

Getting the kids fed on Palo and Remy nights can be tricky. Kids can eat in the kids clubs, or you can always take them on deck to grab some buffet food I guess. And they also say you can have the club counselors take them half way through a meal .

When we were headed to Remy, we wanted to check on getting room service for our boys in our suite. One of the Disney Concierge perks is that you can order room service from the main dining rooms rather than the more limited standard room service menu if you have booked any of the Disney Cruise Suites.

We headed over to the Lounge, and one of our delightful Concierge hosts showed our boys menus. They could have anything they wanted from the main dining room. We set a time for them to deliver their food while we would be enjoying our meal at Remy, and they took care of everything. That worked out really well for my kids 10 and 12.

Meanwhile we thoroughly enjoyed our Remy meal that the Disney Dream Concierge team reserved for us. We liked Remy so much we booked Palo the next night on our way back to the room.

Saving On A Disney Cruise

With so many extra charges that are not included in a basic fare, the cruise vacation deal that may have seemed relatively inexpensive to start can quickly become much more costly than anticipated. Fortunately, there are also many ways to save, protecting a vacation budget without sacrificing the Disney magic of the getaway.

Working with an authorized Disney Vacation Planner is the best way to save, as these experts can access bonuses and promotional offers such as free stateroom upgrades, included ship credits, and more, which can all bring down the overall cost of the vacation. Expert planners can also help advise eager travelers on the best Disney cruise ships and itineraries to meet and exceed their cruise vacation dreams while working within practical budget expectations.

Guests should research their cruise plans thoroughly before booking, and be reasonable about their own budget and what they expect to purchase during the cruise. Looking at the cruise as an opportunity to unplug from the digital world can save money on WiFi connection plans, for example, or staying onboard the ship to enjoy all its amazing features instead of spending money on multiple Port Adventures can be a great savings. If the vacation can be planned at a less expensive time of year to set sail, that can also lead to significant savings.

What’s Included In Your Disney Cruise

This is a great option if you are looking for more space. They also have a living room, a master bathroom with a large tub and rain shower, an additional bathroom, and walk-in closets. They offer 608 square feet of space and sleep up to 5 guests.

They are available with a standard or an extended balcony. The extended balconies offer 1031 square feet of space and of course that gorgeous extended verandah. They also sleep up to 5 guests.

Book With A Travel Agent My #1 Tip

Ill be honest, I feel foolish for saying this because this was so against our initial instincts. In fact, we booked our first 8 cruises without a travel agent because we always thought we could get the best deal. A travel agent can get you the same pricing you will find anywhere else, plus they offer onboard credit to spend on the ship and will help you plan the whole thing.

We use Tinks Magical Vacations for all our Disney trips because they know Disney Cruises, Disney World and Disneyland better than I will ever know. I highly recommend their services. Not only do they help with the planning, you get the best deal available + onboard credit!

Those Incredible Disney Concierge Hosts

Bucket List Disney Dream Cruise! | Roy Disney Royal Suite, Embarkation Day, Concierge & More

As time went by we got to know our Concierge Hosts better. Theyre delightful, and I really appreciated having someone to go to with any issues I might have had. For example, I had trouble getting Wi-Fi working on my phone. Concierge guests receive 100 MB of data complimentary, and I blew through that almost instantly. They squared it away in an instant.

Similarly, I asked if the soda in the refrigerator in our room could be swapped for Evian. No problem. They took care of it immediately. Now I know I could have requested that in advance.

The Hosts can help in big and little ways and seem empowered to flatten issues on the spot. You never know when youre going to need something.

Our boys were 12 and 10 at the time of this cruise, so we all appreciated that they could come and go from the kids clubs on their own. I was a little concerned theyd not both be able to visit the tween club, but we signed a waiver for our 10-year-old and both boys were able to come and go as they pleased from both the main kids clubs for 3 to 12 year olds, The Oceaneer Club and Lab as well as Edge, the tween club for 11 to 14 year olds.

The Host said shed radio over to the island to see if anyone had found the lanyard. Im thinking to myself Yeah, good luck with that. But wouldnt you know it they had found the lanyard on the island, and it was already on its way back to the ship.
