There is a car rental facility at the Barbados cruise terminal. Please know vehicles are limited and therefore reservations come recommended. Also keep in mind Barbados drives on the left. Roads are generally in good condition although they do wind up and down the hills side. Renting a car for the day cost you around 75 US dollar. Keep in mind that often a car with driver will only cost you about 10 to 20 US dollar more.

Hotel Near Cruise Port
Will be catching a cruise in Barbados and can you recommend a hotel near the port that will have restaurants and bar close by, would like to stay below $150 if possible, thank you.
Pricing will depend on the time of year you will be traveling. and location actually doesn’t really matter. you aren’t really that far from the Cruise terminal regardless of where you stay.. The biggest issue will be.. in the “high season” December 15 to April 15th, most hotels. or many, will require at least a 3 night minimum stay.
You may want to try the Hilton, Radisson or Courtyard by Marriott. which are possibly a 20 min transfer from the hotel to the cruise terminal. you may also want to consider Coconut Court Beach Hotel, which is on the beach side across from the Marriot and is a local owned hotel. great beach if you will be spending any time on the beach prior to going on the ship.

I choose Adulo because I like privacy and quiet. I was very excited because they were in the middle of building a swimming pool, which would have topped off the holiday for me. They were waiting for permission to be granted for guests to use it so I look forward to using it on my next trip! The apartments are a short walk from all amenities in Rockley, including a food hall and a short drive from a few beaches if you hire a car.I usually choose a first floor studio apartment because its more private and airy and you can sit on the balcony without others encroaching on your space. I will continue to be a regular at Adulo as it feels like home.
