Pools And Hot Tubs On Quantum Of The Seas

Nothing beats relaxing by a pool with a nice drink in hand as you feel the fresh sea breeze pass by you. The problem is that with thousands of people on a ship, there’s not always room. If you want to spend all day in a pool, a cruise might not be the right choice. You would have a much better bet choosing a resort with a huge pool complex. That being said, a quick dip in the pool can be nice on a hot day.

The Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas has a total of 4 pools and 6 hot tubs.

Tired of loud kids and splashing? 1 of the pools and 2 of the hot tubs are adults only. 1 of the pools is exclusive access, which means there’s either an extra charge to access it or you need to book a certain class of cabin.

Royal Caribbean Provides Updates On Quantum Of The Seas

Quantum of the Seas | Royal Caribbean | Luxury Cruise – Full Tour

Royal Caribbean International has provided guests with an update on the engine issues with the Quantum of the Seas. Although the problems are not safety-related, the cruise line announced last week that it would be changing itineraries.

As the vessel cannot reach its maximum speed, Royal Caribbean has decided to skip sailing through Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier. While disappointing, it does mean that guests do not miss out on any time in port.

The Assistant Vice President for Guest Experience, Aurora Yera Rodriguez, said in a communication to guests:Weve been working tirelessly to find a way to visit Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier for your sailing, but this would result in drastically reduced port times. And given that theres always a risk of missing the Glacier due to weather, its best to go with the surer option of keeping better times in port.

The decision to modify our itinerary wasnt taken lightly. Weve done everything possible to minimize the impact to your time with us and are sorry for the inconvenience.

Done quite a few cruises, and choosing Quantum over Christmas I knew what I was getting in to. Overall I enjoyed myself and the food and entertainment were fine. Of course the ship was packed, but that’s to be expected. My initial interior cabin had a foul smell in the bathroom, and 3 days in got upgraded to a balcony on the same deck. The staff were lovely and did a great job for Christmas lunch in the Windjammer. Embarking fr. Brisbane terminal was chaos and slow. Personally I find Sydney’s 2 departure ports far more experienced with moving people thru. Would definitely recommend Quantum and Ovation to families and young people lots of entertainment. We took a 7 day cruise from Seattle. Visited, Ketchikan, Sitka, Junea, and Victoria British Columbia. Every Destination was great but not long enough, The ship is cleans and was fun to be aboard. My favorite excursion was Sitka National Park and Raptor Center. In the Spring Alaska is foggy, In the summer there are mosquitos. In August it is mid 50s but in my opinion perfect time to travel since no bugs.
