How To Earn Points In Celebrity Cruises Captains Club

Earning Club Points in Celebrity Cruises Captains Club is easy. The more you cruise, the more points you earn. Cruisers will receive these points after completing their cruise. They will enjoy the new membership benefits on the sailing after they achieve the next membership level.

Complimentary sailings, Seminar at Sea, travel agent rates, and employee rates do not earn points. Reduced rate upgrades will only earn points at the original stateroom category purchased, NOT the category of the upgraded stateroom.

If two adult members reside at the same address, they have the option to link their member accounts. While each member still earns points based on their individual sailing activity, both will have access to the points and tier level associated with the member who has the higher Club Point balance. Further, guests traveling solo in a stateroom will earn double the amount of points.

Unlike other cruise line loyalty programs though, the points earned with Celebrity Cruises Captains Club are a bit more tiered based on the room category booked.

The minimum number of points that you can earn per night is 2 points for inside and oceanview rooms. You will earn 3 points per night for verandas and 5 points per night for Concierge Class or Aqua Class. If you book a Sky Suite, you will earn 8 points per night. Further, Celebrity, Signature, Sunset, and Royal Suites as well as Edge Villas qualify for 12 points per night, and 18 points for Reflection, Penthouse, and Iconic Suites.

Celebrity Cruises: Is Concierge Class Worth It

Celebrity Cruises offers Concierge Class staterooms on its ships, which is one step above Veranda staterooms, which are the entry-level balcony cabins. There is no appreciable difference in cabin or balcony sizes.

Concierge Class is generally considered to be one step below AquaClass staterooms, which in turn, are a step below suites.

    Royal Suite And Reflection Suite

The Solstice’s Royal Suites each have 538 square feet and a 195-square-foot veranda with a whirlpool and lounge seating.

Standard features in a Royal Suite in addition to the Celebrity Suite include:

Embarkation Day Lunch And Priority Dining Time Selection

Concierge Class 1007 Celebrity Equinox Cabin Tour

Concierge Class guests are invited to a semi-exclusive lunch in the MDR on embarkation day, which means they can avoid the crowded buffet at the Oceanview Cafe.

Since Blu doesnt serve lunch, AquaClass guests will need to visit the buffet or another one of the dining venues for lunch.

Concierge Class guests also receive priority when selecting dining times in both the MDR and specialty restaurants, although AquaClass guests have exclusive access to Blu, which does not require reservations.

    Expanded Room Service Menu

Celebrity already has a stellar room service menu, which not only includes hot items on their breakfast menu, but is also complimentary.

However, the expanded breakfast menu for Aqua Class guests was even better!

It had extra items, especially hot ones, that really covered every breakfast base.

I have to be honest here. We didnt have breakfast outside of the room ONCE on the entire 14 day trip. Even though we knew breakfast was fabulous in Blu, the Aqua room service menu was really perfect for what we wanted in the morning.

This is the Aqua Class expanded breakfast room service door hanger. Such good stuff on here!

    Magic Carpet For Tendering

Many will fall in love with the cuisine at the Magic Carpet. This open-air restaurant has an easygoing bistro vibe while it simultaneously serves up mouth-wateringly delicious seafood dishes. However, I loved Magic Carpet for its tendering process. The smaller boats that allow passengers transportation to shore, tenders, moved flawlessly at this spot, providing quick access to terra firma after a long day at sea.

So Is Aqua Class Worth It

Personally, I think Aqua class is worth the price, as long as it still fits into your cruise budget. Now that I have cruised Aqua, I cant imagine not having access to Blu, daily canapes, daily iced-tea, and the priority boarding. It really made the trip seem even more luxurious than it already was, plus it saved me money in extras!

I think if the cost for Aqua is at par or even up to $800-ish more to Veranda or Concierge, I would always choose to book it.
