If sailing from Pier 91, this is one of the closer hotels to that spot, though its not far to either port. Rides can be arranged at check-in with the staff, who said prices were $10 per person.

Closest To Pier 91 At Smith Cove

Hotels north of Broad Street are the closest to the Pier 91 cruise terminal. The boutique-style Maxwell Hotel has transfer service to both cruise terminals via town car, SUV or van. Rates vary according to the type of vehicle needed and the destination. The Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-Downtown has a Park N Float package available from the beginning of May through the end of October. It includes parking for seven nights with a one-night stay. The ride to and from the cruise terminal is not included, but that weeks worth of parking saves a lot of money.

Almost any of the downtown hotels will be convenient to the cruise ship dock and could be walkable or a reasonable taxi ride for the two of you. Our downtown favorite is the Mayflower Park Hotel — rooms under $200 and right in the center of shopping and dozens of excellent restaurants within 2 or 3 blocks. Pike Place Market is about 3 blocks away, Nordstrom nearby, Macy’s across the street, and the monorail to Space Needle and Seattle Center is on the same block.

If you want reasonable, check out Priceline to name your own price. You can usually get a good hotel for less than $100. Getting around is pretty easy. Downtown core has free ride zone for metro.

Housekeeping is only on a as-needed basis but they were impossible to contact by phone to ask for fresh towels or tea/coffee supplies. We had to go to the front desk for them since the front desk was also impossible to contact by phone, always a busy signal. The room had with a minifridge and tea/coffee making machine.
