Celebrity ships are very reasonably priced. Theyre not the least expensive vessels out there. But theyre not pricey by any means. Its possible to find week-long Celebrity voyage to the Caribbean or even Europe starting under $1,000 per person, not including taxes and fees at least in the offseason.
As of the date of this storys posting, for instance, seven-night sailings from Fort Lauderdale to the Eastern Caribbean in November were starting at just $909 per person, not including taxes and fees of $169.40. That works out to just $154 per night, per person with taxes and fees for a package that includes your lodging, transportation and meals.
For such a rate, youll get a windowless inside cabin on a ship. Cabins with ocean views on the same sailings start at $989 per person, and cabins with balconies on the same sailings will set you back at least $1,249 per person. But thats still not all that much for a cruise.
As you might expect, pricing for ships generally will be lower during offseason periods such as September, October, November and parts of December. You can end up paying considerably more for a cabin during peak summer months or over the winter holidays.

Of the seven big cruise lines that account for the majority of cruises taken by North Americans, Celebrity Cruises has one of the simplest fleets.
At the core of the brand are 12 relatively big ships that can be bunched into just three groups.

Each of these groups known as classes in cruise industry lingo is made of ships that were constructed around the same time with the same basic design. If you know one member of the group, you know them all.
In addition, Celebrity operates three very small vessels in the Galápagos that, together, make up a fourth grouping of vessels. As well explain below, these three vessels are far different than the lines 12 main ships and constitute what is, in effect, a separate business for the brand.

One of the Edge Series ships, shes a radical new departure from Celebritys previous ships. But whats it like on board? This Celebrity Apex review tells you all you need to know.

The Reflection, which officially launched in 2012, is the last ship in Celebrity Cruises Solstice line, and it also happens to be its largest. The Reflection is a silhouette-class ship, and its capable of carrying up to 3,030 passengers. The most notable feature of the Reflection is its commitment to modern luxury, which is reflected in many of the design elements throughout the ship.
On the ships 13 decks, youll find plenty to keep yourself entertained. There are 10 different restaurants, including several that offer alfresco dining. The Spa aboard Celebrity Beyond offers destination-inspired treatments such as coconut-infused therapies in the Caribbean, plus acupuncture, facials, and massages, including some that use an amber and quartz poultice, plus eucalyptus and juniper, to help ease knots and release tension. Other massage techniques include the Zero Gravity Immersion Massage, the Aroma Spa Seaweed Massage, and the Restorative Salt Stone Massage.
Celebrity Cruise Gratuities 2021
Since January 2020, the company’s daily gratuity rates were increased by ~7% .
- Standard cabins’ daily gratuity was changed from US$14,50 to US$15.50 pp .
- ConciergeClass and AquaClass staterooms’ daily gratuity was changed from US$15 to US$16 pp .
- Suites’ daily gratuity was changed from US$18 to US$19 pp .
Daily gratuity is an automatic service charge added to the passenger’s onboard account each day. Passengers can prepay gratuities. Daily gratuities are split between the ship’s staff .
In 2018, Celebrity’s daily gratuities were USD 13,50 , USD 14 and USD 17 .

Celebrity Cruises Officially Names Its Newest Ship
Simone Biles became the official Godmother to the new Celebrity Beyond cruise ship during the naming ceremony in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Celebrity Beyond has officially joined the Celebrity Cruises fleet, the third in the iconic Edge series. Simone Biles, the 19 times world champion, seven-time Olympic Champion, and the most decorated US gymnast in history had the honor of leading the ships naming ceremony in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, today, November 4.
Simone Biles follows Reshma Saujani of Girls Who Code and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, who previously inaugurated Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Edge.
All three are renowned for their advocacy of women everywhere. Biles found herself in the fitting company of barrier-breaking Captain Kate McCue, who is at the helm of Celebrity Beyond.
Food From Daniel Boulud More
The Magic Carpets Dinner on the Edge is just one of Beyonds 32 food and beverage options, which include eight specialty restaurants. The crème de la crème is Le Voyage, Bouluds first restaurant at sea. An ode to French cuisine inspired by international flavors, Le Voyage wows with dishes like Argentinian filet mignon five-spice duck pithivier, a savory pie and Brazilian moqueca, a fish stew. Its also hard not to be impressed by the walk-through wine display in Cosmopolitan. Like the ships other specialty restaurants, its menu was crafted by Cornelius Gallagher, the Michelin-starred chef who moonlights as Celebritys vice president of food and beverage.
Beyond also has buffet central, although its laid out more like a high-end food hall. Think Eataly but instead of just Italian food, expect to find a little bit of everything. Just dont plan on serving yourself. This ship which has one of the highest numbers of handwashing stations per capita is playing it as safe as possible when it comes to germ prevention. For lighter fare like acai bowls and piñakales , passengers can refuel at the Spa Cafe. Its menu was given the green light by Paltrow, Goop founder.

Described as a groundbreaking industry-first, Celebrity CruisesWonderverse gives people a preview of what it will be like to sail aboard the cutting-edge Celebrity Beyond cruise ship.
Once logged in to the Wonderverse, consumers will be able to move from space to space, experiencing immersive, interactive content throughout, as they learn more about the ship and the destinations they can sail to.
The journey begins with a user-controlled tender game to the Magic Carpet, which is cantilevered above the sea. Here, participants have a chance to create their own personalised avatar, and enjoy virtual cocktails or dinner.Next, meta-tourists will head to the Grand Plaza, the social epicenter of Celebrity Beyond, spanning three decks with the brands signature Martini Bar at the heart of it all. This social-first lounge provides a place for passengers to connect, listen to music, enjoy Celebritys iconic Martini Bar Flair Show and chat with an avatar of Celebritys president and CEO, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.
