What forms of proof of Florida residency are required to be eligible for the Disney cruise Florida discount rate:
Proof of residency must be valid at the time of sailing, and includes the following:
Florida Drivers LicenseFlorida utility bill with Guests name and addressFlorida voters registration cardRenters lease agreement
A property deed is not proof of Florida residency for Disney cruise lines.

Disney Cruise Discounts For Disney Visa Cardholders
Disney Visa cardholders who use their card as their payment method onboard automatically get several discounts on purchases on the ship and on Castaway Cay. In order for this to happen, you have to register your Disney Visa card when you check in at the port. You do not need to charge the cruise fare on your Disney Visa to get the discounts.
You should not need to ask at purchase time to get the discounts if you have the card registered any discounts should automatically be applied when you make an eligible purchase.
These discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts you might qualify for, such as Disney Vacation Club discounts.
Discounts include:
- 10% off selected merchandise purchases of $50 or more. Excludes sale merchandise, gift cards, Castaway Cay merchandise, DVDs, CDs, big-ticket items like art, jewelry, fragrances, cosmetics and watches, plus several vague catch-all categories like selected special items. Basically, ask first if youll get the 10% off, if its important to your purchase decision.
- 10% off 10-photo, 15-photo, 20-photo or unlimited photo packages.
- 10% off the Castaway Cay Getaway package .
- 20% off full-priced massage or facial treatment in the onboard spa while in port. This does not include massages on Castaway Cay or treatments discounted as part of onboard specials.

Why Do Florida Residents Get Discounts
I have often wondered this. It doesn t seem fair that we tourists have already spent loads on getting to Florida and on accomodation and yet we still have to pay more for entrance to the parks?
I live very close to the UK’s premier tourist attraction Alton Towers and yet I don’t get in any cheaper.
Thanks for the great answers- some of the points made I hadn’t thought about and I love hearing the opinions of those both from the UK and the US.
As a former FL resident we would take advantage of the discounts and spend at least 1-2 nights in a hotel. It was usually a last minute decision and not planned far in advance. We would usually make the trip the Disney several times a year so the discounts were a nice bonus for us.
Florida residents do spend a lot of money in Disney too especially when family comes to visit from out of town/state/country!

Prices given are lowest available fares for a single stateroom, in US dollars, including taxes, fees and port expenses, rounded to the nearest dollar. All sailings are from Port Canaveral unless noted otherwise. The room category available at that fare is in parentheses.
Please note: a single guest gets charged essentially the same price as two guests. Also note that 5-passenger rooms are rarely discounted for military members, but they do show up occasionally. If a price isnt listed, that doesnt mean the category is sold out, just that it isnt available with this discount.

Crown And Anchor Society Members
Royal Caribean regularly offers reduced cruise fare rates and discounts to its loyalty program, Crown and Anchor Society.
These special rates are often available for select cruises. You can easily check for the special rates by logging into Royal Caribbean’s website and going to the Crown and Anchor area to see which cruises are available.
Royal Caribbean also offers discounts to Crown and Anchor Platinum and above members on balcony and suite staterooms.
Single supplement cruise fare is reduced to 150% from 200% for members that have 340 or more cruise points
