Who Can Claim The Military Discount
The Disney Cruise military discount is available for all service members, both past and present. This includes Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserves members for all five military branches.
It can be used by members of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard.
The discount is also available for military spouses.
Along with military members and their families, it is available for all other staff members in the US Department of Defense.
Everyone who uses the military discount must provide proof of service when they check in to the ship.

Disney Cruise Discounts For Florida Residents
New!As of September 22, 2021, the following cruises had availability in the Florida Resident category. Prices given are lowest available fares for a single stateroom, in US dollars, including taxes, fees and port expenses, rounded to the nearest dollar. All sailings are from Port Canaveral unless noted otherwise. The room category available at that fare is in parentheses.
Please note: a single guest gets charged essentially the same price as two guests. Also note that 5-passenger rooms are rarely discounted for Florida residents, but they do show up occasionally. Special Military rates are available to all retired and active U.S. Military personnel , including U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, U.S Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Department of Defense personnel.
Active and retired members of the U.S. military must provide valid identification at the time of check-in.
This offer is limited to a maximum of 1 stateroom per military member , per sailing.
A U.S. Military service member is required to sail to take advantage of this offer.
Activated members of the U.S. National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve must also show active duty orders .

Cabin Categories Consider A Guaranteed Category
In addition to off-season deals, pay attention to stateroom categories. On some sailings, Disney offers inside, ocean view and verandah guarantee cabins designated as IGT, OGT, or VGT. These cabins are typically made available only after the final payment deadline is passed for a particular cruise, which means when you book, youre paying in full, and cannot cancel.

Essentially, you are guaranteed a room onboard in the category you booked or higher. Upgrades do happen, but they happen rarely, so make sure youre truly OK with an inside stateroom if you book IGT. The upside, these staterooms can for 10-20% below the regular cruise fare. These rooms are not available on every sailing and are of limited inventory, so youll need to keep your eyes peeled if you want to snag one of these deals.
Do note, these are different than other GTY guarantee cabins you can book ahead of the pay-in-full date. GTY rooms are not discounted. They are essentially the same as booking a regular cabin, you just dont choose your cabin in advance.

These tickets are sold only by Shades of Green only to those staying on Walt Disney World property.
These tickets are available to anyone staying anywhere on Walt Disney World property, you do not have to stay at Shades of Green.
These special tickets are a length of stay pass which include theme park admission for the number of days on the ticket, the ability to park hop, and a limited Plus option .
Stars and Stripes Tickets are available in 2-day through 10-day increments. They expire one day after the number of days purchased, so a 5-day ticket would expire 6 days after first use. The number of days on your ticket must match your length of stay.

The Disney Armed Forces Salute allows qualified individuals to purchase steeply discounted Disney theme park tickets. The offer is for both Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida and Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
The Disney Armed Forces Salute is a special temporary offer, which runs for a specified time period.

Disney cruise ships only have a few cabins for five, and those are usually not included as one of the cabin types available to book at the discounted military rate.
Disney will also only give their discount to the one cabin with the military member and their children if they are under age 18 and there is not one single cabin that can accommodate the entire family.
Remember, even if no military discount is offered by Disney, we will apply our military discount to all cabins in your group, even if you have multiple cabins with friends and family.

When Do Disney Cruise Line Release New Itineraries
If you want to book on your own, Disney traditionally releases itineraries three times each year. The exact timing changes, but as an example, Disney released its winter 2021 itineraries in late September 2019 its summer 2021 itineraries in late February 2020 and would normally have already released its Fall 2021 itineraries in early June of 2020, although that release has been delayed by COVID-19.
