Emailed Instapark before I booked. I wanted a safe place with security cameras, a garage and security guard. Yâall did the bait & switch tactic with me! Unacceptable!!!! Went to the address provided in the parking garage at 45 and called Jose the shuttle driver. He told us that they do not use that lot anymore and to gave us another address. Parking garage tried charging my husband and I $5 just to ride in that garage. I stood my ground and argued. Of course he decided to say he could not speak English & I called him on out on his bs. He finally opened the gate. Then spent another 20 minutes finding the new parking lot. Omg it was in a horrible area to say the least. My husband and I were beyond pissed. Pulled up to a fenced in grassy & muddy lot with no security guard or cameras. Of course!

Where To Shop Near The Port Of Miami
If you forgot to pack something or need to do some last-minute shopping, there are two shopping centers close to PortMiami.
Just across from the causeway linking the port with the city, Bayside Marketplace is an open-air shopping and entertainment destination. The waterfront complex overlooks Biscayne Bay and has several dining options and more than 120 shops.
Bayside Marketplace is just a 25-minute walk from the port, or you can hop on the free Coral Way Trolley and use the Biscayne Boulevard stop. It is also close to the Metromovers Bayside station. Please not the heat/humidity of Miami can be extreme.
Ride sharing options are also available such as Taxi, Uber and Lyft. Its a $10-12 cab ride and probably $8 or less in Uber.
Brickell City Centre is another shopping destination close to the port. With over 120 stores and services spread across four floors, the shopping center has something for everyone. You can also enjoy a bite at one of several eateries. There is also a dine-in movie theater. The shopping center is served by the Metromovers Brickell City Centre station as well as the free Brickell Trolley.

The QuickPark facility where I parked my car was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. The female working behind the counter needs additional training in customer service. The drivers did not want to go to the Port of Miami, but were more than willing to go to the Airport. It took 30 minutes for them to coerce a driver into dropping off a group at the Port if Miami. Upon my return to the Port, I called to be picked up and was told that it would be at least an hour before I would be picked up. I waited for 2 hours along with other customers of QuickPark and no one came to pick us up. Upon calling to inquire why it was taking so long the female became angered and began yelling “there are other people ahead of you”. A driver never showed up. I finally took a Cab to the facility and informed the female that no one came and that there were other people still waiting to be picked up. She, in a very sarcastic tone told me I should have taken a Uber when it clearly states on their website they provide rides to the Port of Miami and the Airport. She stated that it was Free, not guaranteed. I asked for a refund or at least payment for my cab and was refused both. I asked for a manager and was told that none existed. This was the worst experience ever. I would never use this company again. At least a refund for the price I paid for the cab is definitely in order.

Awful experience! We got to the parking lot and were told that we didnt have a reservation, that InstaPark had over booked. We tried to call customer service and never received a call back. After scrambling to find parking, we decided to park at the cruise terminal for top dollar. At least it was covered, secure parking right across from where we needed to be. The lot InstaPark had arranged was totally ghetto! Thanks InstaPark for leaving us stranded in a seedy part of Miami. Now, we know that parking at the terminal is worth every penny.

Driving Directions To The Cruise Port
Coming from north of Miami: Take I-95 South and exit 2B-US1/Bayside Blvd. Head south to Northeast 5th Street and turn left. Fifth Street will lead onto the Port of Miami bridge. Continue over the bridge and follow signage to designated terminal.
Coming from the south: Take I-95 North and exit at Northwest 2nd Street. Head straight to Northwest 5th Street and make a right. Fifth Street will lead onto the Port of Miami bridge. Continue over the bridge and follow signage to your terminal.
