Directions To Port Canaveral The Cove And Jetty Park
From Orlando, simply drive east on SR 528, affectionately called the Beachline. Watch carefully for road signs to Port Canaveral, as Florida notoriously lacks in good road signage.
When you finally and excitedly see cruise ships across the water in front of you on your left, stay to the right. Youll soon want to exit from 528 onto A1A South. Merge briefly onto A1A south and stay to your right for the exit. At the stop light, go left under the overpass. Follow George King Blvd and look for overhead signs to The Cove. You can enter the Cove area on either Flounder St. or Glen Cheek Road.
Heading to Jetty Park? Continue on George King Blvd and keep going to the end. Follow the signs for the campground.
Theres plenty of free parking at the Cove. With a 3:30 arrival, parking is easy.
Enjoy and have fun as you watch the ships sail away from Port Canaveral and out to sea!

Some of the worlds biggest cruise lines in recent weeks have finally begun announcing concrete plans to restart sailings out of U.S. ports.
MSC Cruises, for instance, on Monday said it would resume departures out of Miami on Aug. 2. The announcement came just hours after Carnival Cruise Line said it would restart cruises out of Galveston, Texas, on July 3. Silversea, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises and Holland America also have been revealing restart plans.
Still, even as they gear up for a U.S. restart, cruise lines are saying they only will operate a few ships out of U.S. ports at first. The plan at least for now is to bring additional ships into operation gradually over many months.
So, which cruise ships, specifically, will be restarting operations out of U.S. ports in the coming months and from which specific ports?
In the continuously updated guide below, we list every comeback cruise itinerary out of a U.S. port that has been announced so far for the summer months of June, July, August and September by a major, big-ship line, sorted first by home port and then line.

Similar to being on a cruise ship, you can always ask other if you can share their unfilled 6-seat table, especially at Grills. Since you cant just homestead a table, I suggest that you enjoy a late lunch, early dinner or a couple of appetizers and drinks.
Once the ships begin their procession through the channel and out to sea, people will quickly move to the fence to take the best photos. Do the same.
Disney Cruise Lines Disney Wonder
The Disney Cruise Lines Disney Wonder leaves from Port Canaveral to visit Castaway Cay and Nassau on its three- and four-night Bahamian cruises. On board, passengers room in staterooms designed with families in mind, featuring more space than traditional cruise ships and split bathrooms with separate sinks and bathing areas. Children traveling on the Disney Wonder participate in age-specific clubs with Disney-themed entertainment, games and activities. Be prepared to meet Mickey and his friends while on the Wonder, as costumed characters regularly stop by the childrens clubs, and host meet and greets throughout the ship.
For entertainment for the entire family, the ship offers live stage shows and first-run movies. Adults find that Route 66, the ships adult-only entertainment district, offers more mature entertainment in the form of bars, clubs and lounges. Cruisers on board the Disney Wonder spend a day at Castaway Cay, Disneys private island, where activities include treasure hunting at Scuttles Cove, snorkeling in the lagoon or bike riding across the island.

Royal Caribbean Finalized A Port Agreement With Port Canaveral So It Can Start Test Cruises
One of the major requirements before test cruises can begin looks to be a step closer for Royal Caribbean.
One of the mandates included in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plan for cruise ships to be able to restart sailings from the United States is for each line to secure agreements with port and health authorities in the U.S. cities they plan to visit.
This requirement is part of the CDCs Framework for Conditional Sailing Order , and is intended to ensure health and safety protections for crew and passengers and port personnel prior to resuming passenger operations in a way that mitigates the risk of spreading Covid-19.
Royal Caribbean Group Vice President of Worldwide Operations, Captain Hernan Zini, spoke on Wednesday about Royal Caribbean Groups work to get its ships closer to be able to conduct test and revenue cruises.
Captain Zini said that port agreement was submitted to the Florida Department of Health.
Once that once Florida signs off on the plan, it can be submitted to the CDC. And once the CDC accepts the agreement, the Royal Caribbean group can make an application to the CDC to begin those test cruises.
The agreement will also include information social distancing guidelines and plans for using commercial operators for any required evacuations at sea.
Royal Caribbean said they are hoping to vaccinate about 1,500 crew members.
