Mexican Cruise From San Francisco

What Should You Expect On A Cruise To Mexico From San Francisco

Sonoma County Woman Aboard Coronavirus Cruise Ship From SF To Mexico

You will find cruises that run 4-, 5-, 7-, 10, or 12-nights. They run throughout the year, with most of the cruises running from September to May.

What you can expect from the shorter cruises is just one to two stops in Mexico. The 4 and 5 night cruises often just stop in Ensenada for the day. The others days you will either be at sea or stop in Southern California ports such as LA, Santa Barbara, or San Diego. Even though it’s a Mexico cruise, you will really only be there for one day.

The seven night cruises usually also offer just one stop in Mexico and it’s usually in Ensenada. For this cruise, you will find more stops along Southern California than the shorter cruises mentioned above. Instead of stopping at just two ports in Southern California, you will most likely stop at three ports on you way south to Mexico.

If you want to spend more than one day exploring Mexico, you’ll want to look at the ten or twelve day cruises. This gives you enough time to head further south and stop at additional ports such as Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas.

It offers quite a bit more time in Mexico than the shorter cruises, but does require that you be at sea longer. You’ll often find that you are at sea for two or three days before you stop at your first port in Mexico.

You will then often spend the next two to three days stopping at new ports and then a couple of days at sea making your way back to San Francisco.

How Far In Advance Should You Book An Alaskan Cruise

For Alaska cruises, we strongly recommend booking at least six to 12 months out, as the cruise season runs only from May to September, says DeLaCruz. And staterooms with balconies are highly desirable for Alaska cruising, so its important to book early to be assured a balcony cabin in your preferred location.

San Francisco Cruises Travel Tips

  • Make sure you pack and wear layers. The weather here can get quite chilly at the flip of a dime, so it’s best to be prepared for all possibilities.
  • Don’t worry about having a car! San Francisco is very environmentally-friendly, and it’s effortless just to use public transportation to get anywhere you’d like.
  • Pay attention to the citywide calendar because San Francisco often hosts free events for everyone in the area! There are also free museum days generally at least once a month.
  • Try to book a hotel near Union Square or Fisherman’s Wharf. Don’t make the mistake of being near Van Ness Street, which is known for being loud. By staying downtown, you cut down on your transportation costs!
  • Make sure you book your tickets well in advance if you plan on seeing attractions such as Alcatraz Island. Some of the landmarks here are known for being notoriously reserved, no matter the time of year.

The 49ers’ Defense Also Dominated

Mexico Cruises From San Francisco

The Cardinals got a fine performance from Colt McCoy in Week 10, when the backup filled in for an injured Kyler Murray under center. On Monday night, starting at quarterback once more, he hardly had a chance facing DeMeco Ryans’ 49ers defense. Looking to win Arizona its second straight game in an effort to creep closer to .500 in the NFC West, he and the Cardinals instead took it on the chin before a roaring Mexico City crowd. San Francisco racked up nine tackles for loss and two turnovers, while Jimmy Garoppolo spread the ball around in one of his best outings of the year, leading Kyle Shanahan’s squad to a 38-10 victory to claim the division lead.

Arizona kept things close through halftime, with McCoy feeding DeAndre Hopkins and James Conner capping a second-quarter scoring drive with a touchdown. But the 49ers pulled away early in the second half, getting big gains from Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk in a total team win. They move to 6-4 with the decision, dropping Arizona to 4-7.

Here are some additional takeaways from Monday’s showdown across the border:

Mexico Wants American Extradited On Charges In Death Of Us Tourist Seen Beaten In Viral Video

Shanquella Robinson’s death at a resort development in San Jose del Cabo shocked people in both countries.

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico — Mexican prosecutors have filed charges against a U.S. woman suspected of killing another American seen being beaten in a viral video.

Prosecutors in the state of Baja California Sur did not name the suspect in the Oct. 29 death of Shanquella Robinson.

But on Thursday, they said they had approached Mexican federal prosecutors and diplomats to try to get the woman extradited to face charges in Mexico.

Robinson’s death at a resort development in San Jose del Cabo shocked people in both countries. The video raised suspicions that Robinson may have died at the hands of people she was traveling with.

Local prosecutor Antonio López Rodríguez said the case was being treated as a potential homicide and an arrest warrant had been issued for the suspect. The group Robinson was traveling with, however, left Mexico after she was found dead in a rented villa.

State prosecutor Daniel de la Rosa Anaya said the suspect was also an American, but did not identify her.

News outlets in Charlotte, North Carolina, reported that the people Robinson was traveling with gave differing versions of how she died, but that an autopsy revealed she died of a severe spinal cord or neck injury.
