Celebrity Vs Royal Caribbean Cruises
Though sister companies — both Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International are owned by Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited — Celebrity and Royal Caribbean offer very different cruise experiences. Royal Caribbean has lower-priced entry-level cabins, larger ships, more emphasis on family travel and less emphasis on service, while Celebrity has slightly higher priced entry-level rooms and more emphasis on a refined experience and good service. But pricing and service aren’t the only differentiators. To help you decide which cruise line is the right fit for you, Cruise Critic pits the two against each other — the only winner, however, is you when you pick the line that best fits your needs.

Breakthrough Covid Cases On Msc Seashore
MSC Seashore, which was scheduled to disembark passengers Thursday, sailed with 28 passengers who tested positive for COVID-19.
“During a routine monitoring aboard MSC Seashore, a limited number of guests and crew tested positive for COVID-19. Twenty-eight of the 4,714 guests and crew members 0.59% of the onboard population were discovered to be positive,” MSC said in a statement provided by spokesperson Stephen Schuler.
MSC health protocols were implemented “immediately” and all who tested positive and their close contacts were isolated in balcony cabins in a separate area on the ship. The majority of those who tested positive are asymptomatic, some have mild symptoms.
The cruise line said Wednesday it would continue to monitor the health of those passengers and crew members and would offer complimentary testing for passengers who wished to have it “to feel reassured and for peace of mind.”

Pools On Msc Versus Royal
Pools, what is the difference between MSC and Royal Caribean?
MSC shut pools at night which I think is a great idea. Being the parent of a teens my fear is lots of kids gettting in the pool or jacuzzis late at night which is what generally happens on Royal Caribbean. As parents we find ourselves going out to check where they are and what they are doing.
MSC drain down the pools and net over the jacuzzis after the lifeguard has left. Often with peer pressure and children finally finding friends they want to sit in the hot tubs after dark. This is not something that sits right with me and often on all inclusive holidays and cruise I find myself worrying and trapsing around trying to find them.
This gives me a comfort to know that the pools are drained and covered. Obviously let your child know!
Royal Caribbean do not do this and there are often groups of kids in jacuzzis way in to the early hours.
All pools are similar and there are lots of sunbeds available on both. There were plenty of Jacuzzis on both cruise lines however I found MSC to be quieter during the day around the pool.

Choose Disney If The Older And Younger Kids In Your Travel Group Want To Stay Together
Disney is unlike any other cruise line in that it offers an array of activities in its Oceaneer Club and Lab for kids ages 3 to 12, without divisions. Games, crafts and programming target certain age groups, but no one who might be deemed too old or too young is turned away. The benefit of this is that young siblings, cousins and friends can always be together, regardless of age. The drawback is that the system gives kids a lot of freedom and can be overwhelming for preschoolers — or scary for parents who don’t know exactly where their kid might be in the large play area.

List Of Largest Cruise Ships
Cruise ships are large passenger ships used mainly for vacationing. Unlike ocean liners, which are used for transport, they typically embark on round-trip voyages to various ports-of-call, where passengers may go on tours known as “shore excursions”. They can carry thousands of passengers in a single trip, and are some of the largest ships in the world by gross tonnage , bigger than many cargo ships. Cruise ships started to exceed ocean liners in size and capacity in the mid-1990s before then, few were more than 50,000 GT. In the decades since, the size of the largest vessels has more than doubled. There have been nine or more new cruise ships added every year since 2001, most of which are 100,000 GT or greater. In the two decades between 1988 and 2009, the largest cruise ships grew a third longer , almost doubled their widths , doubled the total passengers , and tripled in volume . As of January 2022, the largest cruise ship, Wonder of the Seas, has a gross tonnage of 236,857, is 362 metres long, 64 metres wide, and holds up to 6,988 passengers.

Disney does a great job at making dinner fun for young cruisers, who might not have the patience for a multicourse meal. Animator’s Palate features different “shows” on the four ships, including conversations with Crush the Turtle from “Finding Nemo” and an animated sequence featuring diners’ drawings. Royal Court and Royal Palace take a Disney castle theme, wowing kids obsessed with Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast. Even Palo, the adults-only venue, allows people to wear jeans, and the upscale Remy, while requiring dressy attire, has an adorable rat motif, inspired by the movie “Ratatouille.”
