This morning, in an announcement from Josh DAmaro about the current status of Disney Parks and the future of the Disney brand, he hinted at more news coming soon from Disney Cruise Line.
This afternoon it appears we have just that! Details and itineraries for Fall 2022 have been released by Disney Cruise Line!
Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness May 6
Coming six years after the first film, the “Doctor Strange” sequel will reunite Stephen Strange and Wong , the new Sorcerer Supreme, with Christine Palmer and Baron Mordo as they face off against a more evil-looking version of Strange who may threaten to destroy the universe.
Wanda Maximoff and America Chavez , who eventually becomes Miss America in the comics, will also join the sequel. We’re expecting some other possible surprises since it looks like they’re breaking the multiverse in this one.
Creator Loren Bouchard wrote, directed, and produced the musical comedy, which he said will “scratch every itch” fans of the show have had.
New Disney Private Island In The Bahamas
On October 19, 2018, The Bahamas officially issued a tentative preliminary approval of Disney Cruise Line’s plan to build and exclusively operate a private cruise port on Eleuthera Island’s southern tip. Project’s developer will be the Walt Disney Company subsidiary Disney Parks and Resorts. The plan is for developing a land sized 746 acres that Disney agreed to purchase. The new Disney ships-only port will have a dedicated pier , boat marina, shops, restaurants, passenger walkways through forests and around salt ponds.
Disney’s new port project will create around 150 permanent local jobs plus various entrepreneurial opportunities for Bahamian residents. However, The Bahamas Parliament must officially agree to the plan once all terms and conditions are agreed and proper environmental testing is conducted.
In early-March 9, 2019, Bahamas allowed Walt Disney to acquire the resort property Lighthouse Pointe from Meritage Hospitality Group Inc . The property will serve as Disney’s new cruise port that also doubles as “entertainment facility” . By this project, Disney will invest between USD 250-400 million to develop the property as Castaway Cay. As part of the deal, Disney agreed to donate property’s southernmost point to the Bahamas Government for a national park.
Currently, on Eleuthera island is located the Carnival Corporation-owned private island resort Princess Cays.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Initial Disney Wish Itineraries Early Castaway Club Booking Begins In May
Disney Cruise Line shared lots of news today about its newest ship, Disney Wish, which sets sail next June. Now Disney has shared details of the ships first 32 sailings. In addition to the June 914, 2022 maiden voyage itinerary, the Wish will also offer 3 and 4 night Bahamian cruises.
General booking begins May 27, though some guests get early access. Castaway Club, Disney Vacation Club, and Adventure Insiders are able to book in advance of the general public.

Halloween on the High Seas returns to Disney Cruise Line in mid-September through October 2022. On select sailings across the fleet, guests can dress up and join Disney characters in their Halloween costumes at Mickeys Mouse-querade Party enjoy themed food, beverages and crafts and immerse themselves in a ghostly ship takeover with elaborate decor and a magical Pumpkin Tree.

So the pattern that we can see is that usually late February early March is time for the May to September cruises to be released.
Mid-June and early June for Fall dates September to December and late September is usually the time they announce the early January to May itineraries.
Can we expect the late 2022 Disney Cruise sailings to be released in June 2021? My opinion is that this is unlikely and that July is a more realistic time estimate.
With this pattern we would have expected the September to December 2021 cruises to be released in June. However, 2020 and 2021 have been complicated years for all cruise lines, and Disney cruises is no exception.
Right now all cruises are suspended until at least May 2021 and there have been many Disney Cruise Cancellations.
For those affected by the cancellations, Disney Cruise Line is offering guests the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund.
For those guests who are trying to book another Disney cruise that can be quite frustrating as they are only a very limited supply of new cruises available to book right now.

Sailings for Summer 2022 were announced on March 18, 2021. They went on sale for Platinum Castaway Club members on March 22, 2021, Gold members on March 23, Silver members and DVC members on March 24, and everyone else on March 25.
Sailings for Fall/Winter 2022 were announced on June 17, 2021. They went on sale for Platinum Castaway Club members on June 21, 2021, Gold members on June 22, Silver members and DVC members on June 23, and everyone else on June 24.

Sailings To Bermuda And Canada From New York
The Disney Magic returns to New York in late September for a series of Halloween on the High Seas sailings to Bermuda and Canada. Guests can visit Bermudas pink sand beaches and colorful coral reefs on five-night vacations or set their sights for a special six-night cruise to the Canadian ports of New Brunswick and Halifax that includes a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Disney Cruise Lines Announces New Itineraries For 2022

Disney Cruise Lines announced on September 10th that it will be offering many new cruise itineraries for 2022. All four of Disney Cruise Lines ships will be sailing from ports in the United States and Canada. According to the cruise lines website, the ships will sail from ports in Galveston Texas, Miami, Florida, New Orleans, Louisiana, Port Canaveral, Florida, San Diego, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. The cruise line also revealed that they will resume cruises in the Hawaiian Islands.
Dcl Cruise Itineraries 2022 Europe
In late-March 2021, DCL announced its summer 2022 ship deployments and scheduled itineraries in Europe Alaska and the Caribbean. DCL’s first-ever summer departures from Miami Florida visit Castaway Cay. Bookings opened on March 25.
European itineraries are part of a new program scheduled for MS Disney Magic. DCL has planned 5 maiden ports in Europe – Leixoes-Oporto Portugal, Chania Crete, Riga Latvia, Maloy Norway, Nynashamn Sweden.
From homeport Civitavecchia-Rome, the ship offers 8-9-12-night roundtrips to Piraeus-Athens and the Greek islands Santorini and Mykonos. A 9-night sailing marks Disneyâs first call to Port Chania . Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona visit popular ports like Naples and Rome, plus French Riviera’s coastal towns Cannes and Villefranche. During the 7-night relocation voyage from Barcelona to Dover, Disney Magic makes a maiden visit to Oporto via Port Leixoes.
In Alaska. MS Disney Wonder‘s 2022 summer season is based on homeporting in Vancouver, BC Canada, and 7-night roundtrips to Skagway, , Ketchikan, Dawes Glacier. Two Alaskan cruises visit Icy Strait Point instead of Skagway.
Throughout 2022 summer, from homeport Port Canaveral, MS Disney Fantasy visits Castaway Cay along with Eastern and Western Caribbean ports on 7-night itineraries plus a special 5-night and an extended 9-night roundtrip .
The newbuild MS Disney Wish starts an Inaugural Cruise program also in summer 2022, but itineraries will be released at a later date.
